Are there any Nerubians in the Shadowlands?
Sanity is the Lie, there is only Madness.Only some arachnid Maldraxxi who use the skeleton, but AFAIK Noone has been confirmed to actually have been a nerubian in life.
I'm still not sure how Lothraxion supposedly being a spy works with him actually using the Light, and apparently the reason the Naaru attacked Revendreth is because they discovered the Dreadlords' machinations (hence why they attacked the ward that the Spire of the Unseen Guests was in, the Ember Ward used to be the Dreadlord's turf), so it'd be wierd if they then let themselves be fooled again just like that.
It loops back around to cosmic natures.
Not only is Lothraxion in so deep with the light that none of the more sensible mortals doubt him anymore, even if there was a clash with the Light and the Dreadlords in the past, the Naaru are convinced that Lothraxion is lightforged and on their side, and once a force of Light is convinced of something it becomes "completely, totally and metaphysically impossible for it to be any other way that than that", so Lothraxion being a double agent is something their purview is completely incapable of considering.

Credit to Lothraxion that at least it must take some determination to not end up being a brainwashed drone for the light. Even if he is from a race of drones that just infiltrate other factions.
Uni catYou know, sometimes I get the feeling Blizzard's allergic to nuance.
Welcome to Estalia, gentlemen. For what it's worth, that light Nathrezim is implied to be a sleeper agent so not even he knows he's a spy for Denathrius.
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult.I got the implication that the reason the Naaru got pissed originally was Dreadlord infiltrators pretending to be Naaru and discovering that. If Lothraxion is a traitor to the Light and still loyal to Denathrius the Naaru have probably fallen for it because he is pretending to be a Dreadlord that has gone over to the light, rather then being a Dreadlord that shapeshifted into a Naaru.
Maybe Lothraxian sold out the other Dreadlords in an attempt to gain the Naaru's trust? Not the first time in WarCraft Dreadlords betray each other to gain fake alliances.
My understanding was that the Naaru found an infiltrator, but missed the infiltrator, Lothraxxion.
So I've been meaning to ask this for a long time, but why can't the PC Night Elves be as purple as the ones on the official art, Illidan, Tyrande, and the Night Elves in Warcraft 3?

Trans rights are human rights. TV Tropes is not a place for bigotry, cruelty, or dickishness, no matter who or their position. The closest just makes their skin look pinkish.

The character page for Warcraft The Artifact Weapons was cut for a quite understandable reason, but some of the weapons are very sapient characters of their own, and these characters were not moved to their respective pages before the artifact weapons page was cut.
Xal'atath is the obvious one, given that she nowadays runs around with a body, but Thal'kiel (The Skull of the Man'ari) and Aluneth likewise have minds and characteristics of their own, and both of which has had bodies in their pasts.
I'm trying to get it restored. But the mod, crazysamaritan, has no knowledge about Warcraft and is asking for a consensus on which weapons would count as characters.
I've listed the three above. Do you guys agree with that assessment? Am I forgetting some? Or do some not qualify as characters?

"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."
Xal'atath, Thal'kiel, and Aluneth are the 3 obvious ones. There's also the Blood DK artifact, the Maw of the Damned, which isn't a character in itself but has the spirit of it's original creator (Netrezaar) bound inside of it.
Though it's only interaction I know of is emoting when approaching Kil'jaden in the Tomb of Sargaeras.
You and everyone else according to the Wiki for the Maw of the Damned. So it's clearly sentient, yet it's very one note in that the spirit of its creator is suffering an And I Must Scream situation and thinks of nothing but consuming.

Different subject, but recently in an interview Ion Hazzikostas indicated that Blizzard might be moving away from explicit "borrowed power" systems.
I believe this is probably the right move. The road they've gone down creates a situation where every expansion story has to contrive both a reason to gain borrowed power...and to lose it at the end of the expansion. It also just doesn't feel great to spend a whole expansion building up a system only to lose it when the next expansion drops. That might not a be a deal breaker itself (obviously this is always the case with gear), but if the new system isn't as good as what came before it feels bad.
Bottom line? Borrowed power might of been a better expansion-specific feature with artifacts, rather than something carried forward in a new form in every expansion.
As someone enjoying the covenant system namely Venthyr and Necrolord, it's going to be sad to lose it all next expac.

"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"The way I see it there are two options.
One is to more or less return to the pre-Legion status quo. Yes, this results in an ability bloat/prune cycle, but maybe that's an acceptable tradeoff.
The other option would be to create a borrowed power type system that is also expansion-agnostic. This might be tricky, and could easily result in it's own bloat/prune cycle, but it might be the best option if it can be done well.
TBC Classic launches June 1st.

Denathrius's schemes seem to be a long con, I wonder what his investment is with the Jailer?
