Doom

So the Doom Hunter is first introduced as a boss then becomes a Degraded Boss. Might be a theme with these super heavy demons with exception of fire barons.

And they added some voice filters for Deag Ranak and is clearer to understand than in the trailer

First half is impressive with what you have to do but second half is where the Doom Hunter is weaksauce. Just spam burst lock-on three times and bam, that's it.

Well each monster in the first game did that too, each enemy would get an introduction or be some kind of boss or mini-boss and then be degraded into a normal enemy.

Hell Knights didn't have any introduction but they merrily jump into the fray in the second level.

Also, in that video, music is so good. Especially at 3 minutes you get this Mick Gordon doing some sort of djent techno distorted chant thing

Well yeah, some of them aren't necessarily bosses but each one gets an intro like that. Hell-Knights also got one, when you're in the Foundry area one pops up over the railing and roars at you.

Actually nope, there's no introductory cutscenes for both Hell Knights and Barons Of Hell. Hell Knights jump over a railing or smash through a wall in Foundry (both scripted events) and Barons are introduced fighting unwilling and imps in Kadingir Sanctum

I can't remember.

Not really. Actually apart from imps, mancubi, pinkies and bosses, I don't think anyone else got any introductory cutscenes.

Oh yeah, watching the vid in the end you fight two more Doom Hunters. I guess cultists hastily cloned more Doom Hunters since they found a single one in the polar region.

No, they just show up and starting shoving rockets in your face just before getting the double jump.

For a sec I thought they did get one in the the Foundry, but I was confusing that with one of the early trailers.

So, what I like about this video is how Hugo and Marty basically explain what each weapon is for.

Heavy Cannon? Keeping low-tier enemies at bay and/or sniping weakpoints.

Combat Shotgun? Staggering enemies and blowing up weakpoints.

Plasma Rifle? BLOWING UP SHIELDS.

Rocket Launcher? Heavy Damage, whether it's by detonating in proximity or peppering locked-on targets.

Chaingun? Hosing down big dudes with DAKKA.

Ballista? Heavy damage against flying enemies.

Super Shotgun? REALLY HUGE CQB DAMAGE.

BFG? Clearing out most enemies in one fell swoop.

And the Crucible? Well, we know it can OHK Tyrants, so...

I kinda didn't want to mention him because we know how he is, but Midnight few days ago got to interview Hugo and Marty with questions. Clearly tried to press things, there's some not too spoilery details but we got some info on DL Cs.

The two DL Cs will be still Slayer-themed, as in Doom Slayer is still the protag. Kind of a shame, I was hoping for telling others stories but whatever. Seems r/doom is too happy about this, thinking having a DLC with any other character is a "bad idea" to which I disagree but to each their own, I guess.

Some people got the game early, mostly through illegal means somehow. Bethesda and others are doing their best taking everything down but let's hope the work page doesn't get flooded with spoilers.

Actually, didn't some games a few years ago lock off accounts if the copy in question was unauthorized to be used early.

Well, I keep looking over details but the only leak I can find out is from last year's September. And that stuff is...outdated. How do I know? The order of levels do not match. Earth for example was supposed to be mid-game level whereas it's now the first level.

Yes I've seen it. I want that DOOMicorn costume it's cool there's the '16 Praetor Suit, should satisfy those who do not like exposed biceps. Me, I like the current design the most and I like that desert camo (I think it's desert camo) skin.
