Hope you get to Double Impact as well G2, I guarantee you the level design is awesome and levels are nicely made.

It is a winner of 2011's 18th annual Cacowards. I really gush about it because I love it

I just like that the games straight up mention the Cacowards by name now.

Last level is an utter bitch if on skill 4-5, because you have to contend with 4 cybies. Hope you didn't pistol start, because it'll take time...and deaths.

The prior level is also nuts with enemy count, I think it has 587 enemies and in the end, you get assailed by few dozen teleporting barons as well.

Also MK, Bethesda is rearing their ugly head with that atrocious tv spot advertisement. It was days ago but I forgot about it until now

Like what the shit is this. This doesn't represent the game and they didn't even bother with Mick Gordon!

I'm just gobsmacked at the sheer amount of stuff Midnight is apparently making videos out of...

He's probably broken all of the NDAs right now.

Ya, even if the song isn't most appropriate or best it's still leagues better than this. They did replace the song down the line however Actually it's back...odd. I remember there was a period where the music was replaced by an in-game music.

Also, it seems the Guns Akimbo starring Daniel Radcliffe has a lot of references to Doom. His character actually has a copy of Doom Eternal! (but it's a mock cover art)

I know contextless links are frowned upon but I can say he's not harsh on this as he was on Doom 3, nowhere near close at least.

I'm just gonna say he straight up gushes over this game if you ask me and you know what? He's right, its a damn great game. Its actually legit heartwarming to hear him having a truly great time with a game after some of the trash he's head to deal with (And TNT so boring he shitcanned the vid on it midproduction.)

Any idea if Hayden's started changing his tune on how the UAC's been running? Or do you reckon he's still "I only poopoo farted for the good of humanity?"

I like to believe he firmly stands by his beliefs and trying to "help" humanity. He's misguided but that doesn't make him blameless or off the hook. I believe he should be thrown in a jail for a long, long time. But maybe he did have an epiphany and decides to help the Slayer for real and let go for real, who knows.

They actually had Midnight come up and ask some questions near the end after Hugo really had a go with the Master Level on the Cultist Base.

I have to give credit for Hugo not completely answering.

Goddamn it, I really don't like how he became the "face" of the current Doom community. AcidGlow, Roanoke Gaming or RipNtear Gaming would've been better, they know how to restrain themselves and be respectful.

decino, as always, finds something interesting about OG Doom. This is about Doom's graphics findings. id used a lot of references and scanned boatloads of images.

What's wrong with Midnight?

A very clickbait-y youtuber who makes these lore videos that are redundant, for so many small details. And has a lot of views. And has that "muh politics!" view as well.

I forgot to say but I'm watching the video G2 mentioned and... The Marauder on Nightmare does not disappoint. I really wanna try this but the fact Master Level Remix is a pre-order exclusive can piss off a cliff.

They're planning to add more in the future, and I imagine the Cultist Base is gonna be available for those who didn't pre-order pretty soon. Whether they'll be paid DLC or not is another thing, obviously.

I'm watching the end bit of that stream and wow G2, I am incensed that they're ok with Midnight around considering he made videos about lore from leaked artbook. How the hell did Bethesda allow this, I have no idea.

They took no action, nothing.

It seems honestly bizarre, especially since Bethesda were taking the whole NDA breach very seriously.

They were probably playing it cool because they didn't want to cause drama on the stream.
