Who's Bruno Gadiol?
Huh. I'm watching Merphy Napier's review of the end of Dressrosa and she just came up with a theory that I don't think anyone has considered. What if Kaido had the OP-OP Fruit's Immortality Operation? Like, that's one big reason he's trying to kill himself. Probably contradicts what little we know about his backstory (Big Mom saved his life by giving him the Azure Dragon Fruit) at this point, but it's still not technically impossible. Just had to have happened after he got the Azure Dragon Fruit.
That procedure just grants eternal youth. It doesn't grant Complete Immortality.

Disgusted, but not surprisedAccording to Onepiece.it, a 23 years old brasilian actor, and he has an instagram account. I don't know anything else about him :/
Of course, this is nothing confirmed, just rumors
There isn't an impossible dream, there are only people who give upI think it's actual immortality. I forget the chapter it was described first in but 780 had Doflamingo call it the "Immortality Operation.

Completely unrelated, but another theory I like is that Usopp's final ultimate power-up will be on Elbaf, and it will be Mjolnir. We already have Prince Loki, who seems like a dick. Why not Thor? Thor or Loki can be the main villain of Elbaf, and it ends with Usopp getting Mjolnir, which will finally fulfill his old lies of lifting giant many-ton hammers (Mjolnir will still be relatively small by giant standards, but that means huge by human standards).

Alternatively, Usopp vs Loki. Trickster vs Trickster, assuming the giant is anything like his namesake.
x3 Looking at original manga, the term Doflamingo used was 不老手術(Furō Shujutsu), which translate as "Perennial Youth Operation", so not really a full immortality.
I assure you, I'm a completely trustworthy person.I'm going by official English in my case, though in inclined to defer to the original kanji used barring a reason to do otherwise.

Ooh, if Elbaf's going to be a shorter arc (like, ~30 chapters), I like the idea of the final battle being Luffy vs Thor and Usopp vs Loki, with Usopp grabbing Mjolnir being the turning point of both fights.
Finished the Water 7 Arc and started the Enies Lobby arc. I'm really enjoying the focus on Robin and Usopp this saga seems to be having and the twists of this arc with Usopp leaving the group, Robin's betrayal out of a misguided attempt to protect the Straw Hats, and Iceburg's crew being the antagonist were all really good. I'd probably put it in my Top 3 arcs so far alongside Arlong Park and Alabasta, though I'd probably say its the weakest of those three. Still, if the rest of the arcs in the saga are of this quality Water 7 definitely has the potential to be the best saga thus far. Luffy vs Usopp is definitely the standout scene/portion of the arc for me with Usopp and Franky's discussion in Franky's hideout being a close second. Looking forward to seeing how Enies Lobby's highs match up.
This portion of the series is generally considered to be among the best along with the ones you mentioned.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Yo Toei and Funimation are doing a global livestream to celebrate the 1000th episode.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."The book community's actually been treating manga with more respect, which I appreciate (it's not a rant video), but I know some people have a few issues with Oda's writing. Your take?
@ PMC: I feel like it should logically be a short, Wham Episode-filled arc, considering that those tend to follow the big war arcs and the giants almost certainly know a lot of βdeep lore,β but I also think it will likely involve Big Mom so Iβm kind of lost.
I dunno, I feel like Laugh Tale is going to be the big lore arc. Elbaf should be a smaller arc, sure, but I think it should have some conflict and stakes. We've had shorter arcs with a whole internal conflict that needs resolving, just look at every single arc up to Alabasta.
It's interesting that the giants might have some records of the Void Century themselves, since it was "only" 4-5 generations ago for them.
Secret SignatureYeah, unless the WG hit them too, they quite possibly even have PRE-Void Century records!
I was thinking something more like Jaya or Zou, with no real big antagonist but a lot of character development and a lot dumps.

New chapter: Requiem for a Strawman.
Next time you link your sense of pain to someone else, make sure they have the parts that can feel that pain. An important lesson for all of us.
One Strip! One Strip!Even if it is a bit of a Space Whale Aesop.
Though I do like how Hawkins went out. He's always struck me as the least pirate-like of the Worst Generation by virtue of being the most risk-averse. Even Capone, mobster that he is, went right into the belly of the beast for a shot at taking out Big Mom and only Big Mom. Whatever Hawkins' goal was, if the cards said no chance he'd never even attempt it.
Someone pointed out to me As he's falling Reverse Judgement is falling with him in sight. Which represents self-doubt and missed opportunities.
Killer had a great showing here.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.I almost want Kid and Law to win now but I'm still not sure they're strong enough even together. On the other hand it's kinda late in the story for the new generation to still continually job to the old. What to do what to do...
Speaking of casting, some hints/rumors points toward Bruno Gadiol as Luffy's actor
