I'm gonna throw out a prediction that Ym-sama will have at least one of the two unaccounted-for Ancient Weapons by the final battle.

Which makes me think: thank goodness the World Government doesn't know that the Straw Hats are, for all intents and purposes, guardians of Poseidon and seem to be (from their side) on good terms with the Red-Haired Pirates...

Relatedly: my theory as to what Vegapunk's new discovery that renders the Warlords obsolete is? He's managed to dig up the original Pluton.

That or the third Ancient Weapon.

Anyone wanna bet the three Weapons somehow act together as a set to be more than the sum of their parts?

I wouldn't be able to come up with any for how a set would work until we find out what the third Weapon is.

For that matter, we don't really know what makes Pluton so powerful aside from it being a really big ass warship.

I assumed Pluton's cannons fired giant nuclear level blasts. Like those Dyna Stones from Film Z.

Pluton is said powerful enough to destroy entire islands. Basically you can have a Buster Call with a single ship

So, who has your favorite villain backstory?

I would say Moria because the effects of his are the ones that feel the most visible in his current self to me. Doflamingo is also really good in this department.

I kinda like Lucci’s because it shows how utterly insane he is.

While it might not be my favorite backstory, and while fridging a character's wife and child will never not be problematic, I still think that the way Senor Pink's backstory was presented was one of the most effective in the series. Same goes for Baby 5 on a smaller scale.

My favorite villain backstory overall might be Katakuri's.

Anyone else get the impression from Baby 5's backstory that that's actually her real name? She was an unwanted and unplanned fifth child so her parents didn't bother calling her anything else.

We know it's not her real name. When she and Buffalo were pestering Law about his real name as kids, they said they already told him theirs.

Might still be what they called her nonetheless.

Seems their ship is being pulled by a giant fish, which King then kills, causing the boat to crash. Ugh, not looking forward to everyone who'll be calling the Big Moms weak due to this...

With Big Mom now in the picture, we'll have two emperors to deal with. And of course, Sanji's finally going to bust out the Raid Suit for good.

Huh King is another dinosaur-guy, specifically a pteranodon. I wonder what Queen will be.

So he is using the Raid Suit. I guess Sanji can put his pride aside when it matters.

I don't really see how the raid suit is supposed to help keep his identity secret, it's not like it covers his face.

I'm curious how the Big Mom Pirates are going to save themselves.
