You never specified gay people, I just added "opposite sex" to what you said to make a point about how that excludes certain groups.
Anyway, I'd rather not dwell on this, my intention was just to make a snarky comment but then people started getting defensive.

Sarcasm, it & the internet don’t mix am I right? (Shrugs)
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Forever Alone more refers to someone who wants a romantic partner but can't get one for whatever reason
Heart of Stone@Clarste: Pro-tip: always pothole Sarcasm Mode.
It's a pisser, sure, but not as much as having to clear up misuderstandings.
It's too bad that P 5 R isn't coming to the Switch.
But people might not like the new character anyway.
(I'd really like her to be a female protagonist)
I mean, it wasn't sarcastic, I honestly believe that, it's just it wasn't supposed to be a whole conversation.
If the new character is a female protagonist, then the Kamoshida arc may have to be re-written, and besides Ryuji, Yusuke, and Mishima all the male Confidants are too old (or young in Shinya's case, and evil in Akechi's case.)

They did that with P 3 P, but that might not be feasible with Persona 5.
I really don't think most casual fans would be very happy with a switch to simplistic, Visual Novel-esque visual design.
Especially considering the stylishness of the visuals is one of this game's selling points.
I never said anything about a different design. Just that a female protagonist would have to have a different take on Kamoshida and that there aren't many romance options for her.
.... oh I thought you were pointing out how Haru looks pregnant. My bad. .... so it was a totally unrelated thing.
... is that official art?
No, it's not.
Huh I assumed it was.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."There's a lot of talented artists who just do their own thing.
I didn't think it was official, but it's pretty good.
Aside from Akechi being there
I wonder what extra content Royal will have.

If it's like Persona 4: a new female character, a Social Link with her, a more in-depth Social Link with Akechi, a bonus level, and some comic relief fluff.
It's been 3000 years…I mean do you really think they'd canonize a polyamorous relationship between Makoto and her boy toys
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Well that would require pandering to the women but they've since made it clear they are only interested into pandering to the straight guys.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Not just women, but bi men and those filthy poly people.
That's entirely too progressive.
We need to progress out foots up their asses.
Maybe then they'll start living in 2019.
One Strip! One Strip!I'm reminded of when they said that instance of man on man love in I think Persona 2 was just to pander to the Yaoi fangirls.
That was literally the only reason why they'd consider making Yusuke romancable until going "Nah lets keep our focus on the boys."
So to them a homosexual romance would be strictly for the yaoi girls.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."And yet Satomi was the most adamant about the pairing itself and how much they like each other. But he was not working for Atlus by that interview so I guess it wins out!

Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.
I never specified Gay people, just people in general.
And I'm sorry if you're offended but...I don't really know how else to word it? Nobody is calling you inhuman or anything. But it's been proven by history and the like that society has evolved to this point by supporting each other and pairing off. It's literally how life continues to move on...
