I kinda have a feeling that Zeus will be the Big Bad of this game. Mostly because of mostly of the tale Margaret told in the first Persona Q about how Zeus and Chronos are connected. Because of that, I just had a feeling ever since this game was announced that Zeus will be the Big Bad.

Zeus could have beaten and Seal Nyx away by himself if he wanted to, considering he's supposed to be Chronos's equal, and overpowered a Velvet Room attendant, who rules over power itself, who one shots erebus on a yearly basis, which shows just how insane he really is, power wise. This likely makes him an even stronger god then the real Izanami and probably at least on par with one of Yaldabaoths angels, at least.

Izanami is a Minor Land Goddess. She kinda sucks powerlevelwise in comparison.

Still more powerful then most collective unconsious demons, but not as strong as other SMT versions of Demons, perhaps.

Thats something I've always wondered, why the SMT versions of Demons are stronger then most of the Persona versions. Has Atlus said anything about that?

I think I said it before, but a Hindu theme for the next Persona would something nice, as a nod to the Digital Devil Saga duology, and the fact that said Duology was supposed to be the Successor to the Persona 1 and 2 trilogy, even though Persona 3 was being developed right after Nocturne was finished......

I think I just confused myself, lol.

Varna could be the ultimate of the fool arcana, for instance.

Also the Sun but that's too fantastical for Persona. Doing cool dtuff like saying the Sun is actually Heaven and the like.

all of the party could be based on Hindu heroes.

I don't Think the likes of Rama or Karna have been in Persona yet.

Hanuman is, but he's a normal obtainable persona and not a unique one, thought that hasn't stopped atlus from making unique version of previously existing Personas.

Chronos was OMGWTF powerful. Crashed the Velvet Room, overpowered the Wild Card, had the Velvet denizens legitimately panicking, and one late-game quest implies he delivered an offscreen curb stomp to Philemon.

Yaldabaoth is too, considering he trapped the velvet room in mementos, kidnapped Igor and split the velvet room attendant in two.

And we know enough that Igor > Velvet Attendants but he's mysterious not a fighter.

We Don't really know that.

For all we know, he has a compendium filled with the strongest demons in the SMT multiverse somehow.

Or his big ol nose is actually The Axiom personafied. XD!

Power levels: I doubt Zeus could beat Nyx, since having heavy firepower isn't the same thing as being able to do a Super Duper Power Of Friendship Seal Thingy.

IIRC in actual mythology Nyx was the one and only being Zeus was actually afraid of if that means anything here.

@Demon Godof Chaos 2: Except we do know that. Elizabeth and Theodores own power can barely sustain the Velvet Room together in PQ and Margaret was able to make a mini Velvet Room she made function okay. But the fact the three were weaker than Igor is why Chronos could hijack it.

Igor keeps the place by himself completely stable with his own power.

And the personas aren't their own power either. Those are things guests have made. The books themselves give a boost and aid them. As Elizabeth makes clear she once nearly beat The Reaper with her hands tied behind her back, no personas, no magic, and no weapons.

Interesting to note that the three navigators have something that looks like a gameplay mechaniac in the commercial.

The navigators need to be playable to fill out the 28-strong roster that's been reported, since I understand the OCs aren't party members like Zen and Rei were.

I noticed that the three physical elements from the first game (Cut, Stab, and Bash) got rolled back into one which is welcome. I also imagine that if they reuse the same method the first game had for acquiring the cast's ultimate Personas that Akechi is going to have to get the same treatment that Koromaru and Shinjiro got (starting Personas got a stat and affinity buff but no form change) otherwise some eyebrows will probably be raised.

They could always just make Loki a bonus Persona with no intake on the story.
