Samus: You really think I should ask her?

Kayla: I mean, it's worth a shot.

Samus: I suppose. I mean, all considered, at least I know who we're taking the money from. And even if I used my own money to bail everyone out, it wouldn't be an indefinite solution to our problems..

Kayla: Yeah.

Samus: Really...the big question I've been trying to figure out is where we go after this. I doubt just settling in would help. We already got a few people taking their trousers off for money to buy alcohol or gamble. And we haven't even been here a month.

Kayla: I have no idea.

Samus: I know. I had an idea, but the practicality of it is...questionable.

Kayla: Oh?

Samus: ...A lot of us are wanderers, right? People who don't really have a place of our own to lean back on or bunker in when times are really rough.

Kayla: Yeah.

Samus: So why not make a place like that, yeah?

Kayla: Where?

Samus: That's the question I'm facing here.

Kayla: -Nods-

Samus: I don't know. How do you feel about it, Kayla?

Kayla: The idea has merit, but....we can't afford to buy land, I think.

Samus: That's one of the hardest hurdles to cross, for sure.

Samus: Room for two here?

Sam: 'Course.

Samus: How are you holding up?

Sam: The whiskey helps.

Samus: I see. Hit you really hard as well?

Sam: Yeah.

Samus: Yeah...I suppose one never fully prepares for something like this, until it hits you.
