-The bustling city of Nethervegas has gotten a little more bustling, ever since that commotion three days ago. A massive freak radiation storm appearing out of nowhere, only to disperse and reveal Caesar's Legion to be disbanded almost entirely? And on top of that, rumors are beginning to spread. Rumors involving what happened to Caesar's Legion regarding a few knuckleheads busting their way into the camp and taking them all out on their lonesome. Which would doubtless be cool if it were true...but then the news comes out both by NDR reports and local news crew that not only did those same knuckleheads genuinely do it, not only might they be related to that infamous disbanded mercenary group known as Kerberos, but they were outright challenged the god Jupiter to no less than twelve trials to prove his culpability in Kerberos's disbanding-

-Naturally, this has lead to many different casinos and groups, including the New Demon Republic's official embassy, offering these people suites and supplies for their outings. Which are totally unrelated to the fact that huge betting pools are springing up regarding this huge form of entertainment. Because if they were related, that would be...unethical-

-Mind you, two of the people involved don't seem to note how important this seems. Asagi Asagiri has already completely put out of her mind the scope of what happened and is arguing with local munitions shops on the cost of various guns and scrap metal. Raidou Kuzunoha meanwhile has slipped through the cracks as he loiters near the entrance to the Lucky 38, its ostentatious appearance and height being the last enduring reminder of its former owner one Mr. House before being claimed by the new Mayor and changed to suit her more practical whims-

-Samus Aran herself has gone to the one singular house of information in this wasteland she can reach, the NDR embassy, just to study up on Jupiter, so she's both easy and hard to find-

-A man by the name of Karl Franz, one of the many people with nowhere to go, is sitting in a bar looking a bit overwhelmed by what's going on, with only his baby griffon companion Deathclaw to keep him company-

-"Blue" Graywords, meanwhile, is just still hanging around casinos until her other half comes to drag her out-

Blue: Nope.

Besides, you look like you're playing it with the 21st century edition rules.

Blue: I don't know when I'm from, but I know that the "advanced" play involves the players making up the cards and the rules on the spot.

Mammon: "So if I just say 'you have to pay a billion dollars dollars to play cards because of my special powers', I can just do that?"

Zane: "How is that fair? D: If you can do that, I'm going to use Spirit Bomb to destroy the rest of your life points!"

They keep upping the ante on their nonsense abilities and rules until their cards spontaneously explode from all the dramatic yelling.

Blue: ...Now that I think about it, that's how a lot of games go back home as well. Explosions and everything.

Zane: Nah. I'm always looking for new stuff to do, so I don't think I'd be satisfied just hanging around in the same place, doing the same thing.

Blue: I totally know how that is. I tend to like forget where I live anyways.
