Arc @ Roxie: A few months? try years.
@Zeke: That sounds familiar...
[forum cryptid: it/it's](@Mitch)Aurora: "...say, have we met before? Because I could swear you look like the future High King of Skyrim."
Aurora: "...but would that really be worth it? Eradicating an entire Island full of not only Thalmor, but also civilians, just to prove a point?"
Mitch: ...I believe we have.

Imca : There are two things about this, 1) you first deliver an ultimatum, and start some where a bit smaller to show them that you can, if they still dont back out you work up.
....
2) Committing such an action, will change the progression of history, as all other nations will come up with there own variations of this, while in the short term it is a horrible thing to do, in the long run it renders large scale war a thing of the past as no nation is willing to push the button, so to speak.
Zeke: *Completely ignoring Roxie with shock, he looks like he's ready to dive toward Arc.* "Really?! Where?!"
Ah, I can teach you the tricks of the trade. The tricky trades. I'm a trick trader, trading tricks and tricking...what was I talking about?Inn
Roxie (re:Arc): ... Wow. But... You got lost or was it by choice that you decided to wander?
... And I said weeks, not months.
(re:Zeke) No, I... Whoa.
Throne Room
Tira (on Aurora's observation): Even I could figure that.
(aside, on Imca's reply) Isn't that what writers come up with when they write about World War III?

One Nation Under WiFi(@Mitch)Aurora: "Then how about you feast with the Queen this evening? My cook makes an excellent Horker stew."
(@Imca)Aurora: "That... hmmm... that does make sense, yes..."
Throne Room
Imca : Ever wonder why WWIII has never happened? People may be stupid, they are not suicidal.
Mitch: -opens mouth to decline-
-promptly remembers the fact that Aurora sort of recognized his role in kicking Alduin's ass, so maybe she's doing something to sort of apologize-
...Sure, why not?

Tira (re:Imca, startled as she didn't mean to be heard): Whoops! Uh... Yeah, well... You got a point there. But how 'bout the civilians?
One Nation Under WiFi-Arc calmly removes Zeke from herself and pauses to light up a cigarette, creating a spark to ignite it-
-after taking in a long drag-
Arc @Zeke: Well, I said it sounded familiar. Can you tell me anything about it?
@Roxie: As I said, I'm a bit off, today. I left by my own will. We have the tech to Shunt willingly.

-To this Imca does not respond, she really does not know how, on one hand it does cause a lot of civilian deaths on the other hand it prevents future war-
Zeke: *Sighs, looking defeated once again* "Just that it's a pub. That's about it."
@Roxie "Anyway, the spell is actually fairly interesting; I think I'm getting the hang about it, though it took me longer than I'd like to admit to realize how I cast it."
Ah, I can teach you the tricks of the trade. The tricky trades. I'm a trick trader, trading tricks and tricking...what was I talking about?Arc @Zeke: just a pub? I doubt that very much.
[forum cryptid: it/it's](@Imca)Aurora: "I will have to think thouroughly about this. And certainly something like that can not be developed in a single day." >->
(@Mitch)Aurora: "Oh, great~"
(@Imca+Asagi)Aurora: "So, you wanted access to the storage chambers, yes?
Mitch: -to Tira- I think the US did something similar with the atom bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
On the one hand, you could say that by dropping a devastatingly powerful weapon on civilian targets, the US was performing a war crime. On the other hand, they'd deemed it necessary - because there would be somewhere around ten times the projected deaths from a ground invasion of the Home Islands, on both sides.

Roxie (re:Zeke): Oh yeah... Uh, I forgot how it went, can you tell me again? ^^' (chuckles in embarrassment)
(because I fell asleep when that came up)
(re:Arc) Then how come you've been so long without going back?
Throne Room
Tira (re:Mitch): That's kinda what I was thinking. But I thought you guys were, like, above this whole "acceptable losses" thing?
(is this right, or is it "not above"?)

One Nation Under WiFiMitch: -to Tira- I honestly try to be.
But sometimes things turn into a numbers game.

Imca : In a flat out war, and not a skirmish, it is best to just minimize the losses....
Back to the other topic though, do you have any way to just burn all the chese?
(@Asagi)Aurora: ~points to a hallway leading out of the Throne Room~
"Fifth door on the left. Knock twice, then pull the door. Otherwise you'll trigger the trap."
(@Imca)Aurora: "...magic? Shouts?"

Asagi: Thanks!
-Follows the instructions to the storage chamber, then knocks on the door twice and pulls-

Imca : Can you do that? it would dispose of the cheese, and the ornge box wont burn.

Imca : But?
