Well, I'll be damned, the one who looked like Sakura 2.0 is actually Morizono, the actual cousin looks nothing like her.
Here are the character images:

Synopsis says that everybody gets a mysterious text message one day, so it's highly unlikely to be set in the past.
Play Again? Y/NYeah, that does kind of screw over the idea... but really, I want to see more of Sakura's grandmother. Until proven otherwise I am going to assume that the blond girl is Sakura's grandmother and due to time travel they get sent back, the Yoshino guy marries her and that it sends up as both a prequel and a sequel.
Well, I'm guessing that the person who sent out that text message (although it's possible that the plot will undergo revision before official release) is in fact none other than Sakura herself.
No, I'm not quite sure how that works exactly, but I can't see who else it would be.

Play Again? Y/N...Sakura is the text message itself, and it was sent by the weird dog in DCII. The weird dog has been replaced by a deformed ferret creature that will turn out to be Kyubey. But just when you think the series is going to get all darker and edgier, they'll just boot him out and continue the dating sim antics.
Everyone gets a mysterious text one day...that has the date 1951.
Sakura must have found a way to send a message from the past to arrive at the exact day the Everlasting Cherry Trees starts blooming again.
And until they reveal the loli character, the chances of one of them being Sakura and Junichi's grandmother are pretty low. She did say she only started getting older after she became involved with their grandfather, so she probably looked just like Sakura age-wise until then.

Maybe she fell in love at 16 and stopped growing then!
Isn't one of the characters linked above the loli?
Hinomoto Aoi is 3-5 years younger than the rest of the group. Also, she's got a weak body/constitution.
Did someone mention text messages? They might be D-Mails!
iM@S archive of materials.Oh, now where have heard we that before?

Play Again? Y/NWant me to add more to that trope/character reference pile? After saving her from one of her fainting spells, Aoi follows Kiyotaka around "Like a puppy". So yeah, overly genki-girl, weak body, considers protag something of an older brother, and puppy, sounds like two Da Capo 1 heroines rolled together, no?

@Arha: It's the opposite, IIRC. Witches only grow old when they fall in love and the love is reciprocated.
Aoi she does not look too much like a loli.
Edit: Well, looking again, I don't know anymore, maybe she does.

Or perhaps they stop growing when the fall in love and it's not reciprocated.
Sounds like Miharu + Nemu to me. Oh the irony.
iM@S archive of materials. And we've already had a Miharu + Mako. Please, please, no Nemu + Mako. That can only lead to Shana.
I'd be okay with that.
But only if she had an interesting backstory and/or quirk that makes her unique.
Edit: Wait, wait, doesn't Mako + Nemu sound a lot like Yume? You know, eternally grumpy with a hell of a Big Brother Complex?

No, I'm pretty sure we'd get a Tsunderie if we combine Mako and Nemu. Oh god no.
iM@S archive of materials.Exactly. Mako is a borderline tsundere and Nemu definitely is one. Nemu is also clingy. This makes a double tsundere, meaning very, very tsun. And I seem to recall that Shana could get really jealous, though not quite clingy.
I didn't give full details on the profiles, but Katsuragi Himeno has Childhood Friend, Next-Door Neighbor, Yamato Nadeshiko, acts like siblings(with Protag) AND Tsundere under her banner. And yes, this is the one that looks most like the Nemu.
Official website updated with..."vitals" for the girls and suginami. As usual, Suginami's got everything filed under secret.
^ No surprises there.
Naturally, if it ever gets an English release we won't get the Plus Communication release.
Out of curiosity, when Da Capo 2 was released in Japan, was Manga Gamer even around?
Since Da Capo is one of their main series, I think it's safe to assume they'll try to bring it the earliest possible.
Yeah, I assume they'll pick it up eventually. Which may be unfortunate given their apparent tendency to only translate the base game rather than Plus Communication.
Are we sure this one takes place in the future? I think it might be interesting for this one to turn out to be about Sakura's grandmother, making Sharuru the main heroine, I guess.
