Some are quite moving and beautiful:

Fallout 3 had some nice remixes of US music. I wouldn't describe any songs as moving though.

^Oh come now, at least Russia's has got to be up there with "most awesome songs ever".

Also, isn't it odd that today is the first time I've ever heard the rest of the Star-spangled banner? I've been an American citizen for two decades now and I always though it was just the first stanza, haha. A crying shame too, considering "Conquer we must, when our cause it is just" is about the most Badass Boast ever.

The most badass national anthem ever:

Because no thread about national anthems is complete without La Marseillaise:

I like the East German national anthem. I've no idea if anyone mentioned it yet because I can't see the stuff posted.

I readed somewhere that the Japan anthem is like it comes out of some japanese version of Lord of The Rings.

I can't stop listening to this

Yeah, "Auferstanden aus Ruinen" (the East German one) is pretty damn cool. And hearing the story of the final playing of it by the DDR radio in 1990 is even cooler.

I also nominate the modern German anthem.

Also, does "The International" count as an anthem? Cuz it should, as it is an anthem of the people's plight against the capital!

Lucky bastards, with your official national anthems... (yes, I'm highly bitter over my country's lack of an official anthem, why do you ask?)

If you put the words of our National Anthem to the tune of Jimmy Barnes "Working Class Man" it becomes a million times better
