RIP Beerus?
Mileena MadnessRIP Beerus. And so Carol loses another person that was important to her.
I don't know how I feel about this episode. The first third of it was awesome, but then everything just gets reset to zero again with Negan's plan succeeding in infecting many members of the Hilltop.
Eugene has quite the amount of blood on his hands, eh?
So Tara is screwed, right?
What is up with Morgan's hallucinations?
I liked it better when Questionable Casting was called WTH Casting AgencyGavin is a Jedi ghost.
Mileena MadnessOne thing I forgot to add was that this is probably the least likable that Maggie has ever been. Why did they decide to express her icy coldness towards the idea of losing Hilltop people if it means she gets a crack at Negan? Is the show going for the false moral equivalency Grey-and-Grey Morality again? Do they have to assassinate the sympathetic elements of Maggie's character to do it?
The answer to those questions would be this. You know what it is◊...
From here I have a feeling this will become a new meme. lol

Mileena MadnessI think that the link is borked.
I liked it better when Questionable Casting was called WTH Casting AgencyA comedic recap of The Walking Dead Season 3.
2:56 "It's a whole waste of time."
You know what it is.

Mileena MadnessApparently this is one of the most symbolic, memorable scenes in the show. Or at least a lot of Youtubers seem to think so.
I'd forgotten about it, but it is a beautiful shot.
I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!Well that's not exactly what I wanted to link to, but I like the way it looks and since this thread is mostly inactive, shrug. This is the scene I was talking about and the above link is the full song.
Another thing I've noticed rewatching Season 2 is how much Rick's voice has changed. Everybody, really, but focusing on Rick, his drawl is more rugged, harsher. I guess this could be a symbolic thing, or perhaps Andrew Lincoln getting older, but what I'm saying is that I miss how he used to sound.
Daryl too, the cigarettes have taken their toll.
Watching last Sunday's episode i've also noticed that everybody is delivering some kind of metaphor, using clipped phrases, or being sarcastic. It feels like any trace of conventional discourse is just gone.
One moar thing - I'm convinced that this show lives and dies in it's first three seasons. All of the character arcs and themes in the first season get wrapped up with Andrea's death in the third. This is pretty much the best time to stop watching. Season 4 starts the show up again and finishes right about halfway through Season 6 when Alexandria is overrun. Stop viewing there. But if you really must see more that Norman Reedus manliness then continue on, into Season 7 where he is brought down to his lowest point and makes more mistakes than anybody else whose name isn't Morgan.
One moar thing - Morgan's hallucinations and PTSD are getting old. Stop it Scott Gimple, stop it.

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!You know what it is.
Mileena MadnessI'm not supposed to.
I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!You don't CLEAR?
Mileena MadnessIsn't it his fault that Henry killed Gavin?
I liked it better when Questionable Casting was called WTH Casting Agency(2) You know me. I'm not wearing a dead man's face.
Henry killed Gavin because he forgot to pay the bill. I've been skimming episodes but it looks more like Henry snuck out and killed Gavin before Morgan got the chance.

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!References to the first episode, to the fifth and sixth seasons, Rick's "murder coat" makes a return, the cinematography using the mirrors placed throughout the episode to characterize Rick, Rick and Negan switching roles, Carl is a duffle bag, and that one asshole Savior finally died in what seemed like a call back to Eastman's story in Season 6.
Better episode than usual, and that ending with Rick caught me off-guard.
I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!Holy crap look at this
That is some impressive foreshadowing...for you know what it is.
Mileena MadnessI liked it better when Questionable Casting was called WTH Casting Agency
Yeah, that's just...yeah...
Mileena MadnessEww...
This episode gave me all sorts of feels. I just really want Negan and most of the Saviors to die at this point.
I hope that Eugene doesn't kill Gabriel. I don't know if Eugene can remove himself from the slippery slope at this point. He's lashing out because Rosita and Daryl were "mean" to him.
I liked it better when Questionable Casting was called WTH Casting AgencyNow that episode was badass and I don't care what the ratings say about it. Stuff actually happened.
Some interesting stuff there.
I didn't notice the symbolism of Eugene rising from the ashes as well.
I liked it better when Questionable Casting was called WTH Casting AgencyI like this episode but im disapoint simon dies here, I was expecting him to bite the bullet in final since he was pretty much upgrade to big bad in all but name.
And eugene....I kinda like him, while he is a coward, he have become one of the most intersting chararters so far.
"My Name is Bolt, Bolt Crank and I dont care if you believe or not"
" "why isn't this show's pacing more like Game of Thrones?"
Because Game of throne have become pretty much high speed in order to finish the them thing off, I sacrifice pausability for rule of cool.
