Yeah Ghost honestly needs a nerf or two (THAT NERF ISN'T REMOVING ITS PHYSICAL MOVES BTW GF) since it's been broken since like, gen 7?
Secret SignatureGen VIII because they decided Pursuit should stop existing for some reason.
Heard that wasn't fun.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with? It'd help Rock's defensive niche, at least.
I don't think Ghost needs the weakness, though.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyI dunno, giving Dragapult a weakness to Stealth Rock seems pretty fair.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?I'm not sure if it counts at "defensive," but Glastrier and Calyrex Ice worked extremely well with the Dynamax mechanics.
Where there's life, there's hope. How's Cetitan by the way?
Secret SignatureNiche. It's reliant on both Snow and Belly Drum to do its job in a tier where the best setter is Slowking (via Chilly Reception) and Unaware mons that resist its STAB (Skeledirge and Dondozo) are everywhere.
I wonder if Thick Fat has a small niche of its own, Fire neutrality and Burn immunity isn't too bad?
Edit: Wait what, Thick Fat doesn't give a Burn immunity, could've sworn it did!

Secret SignatureHuh. Not only did they not increase the spread of Zing Zap for some reason, it's now a signature move again. But for Pincurchin this time. Imagine sharing and then losing your signature move. Sucks to be you, Togedemaru.
Also, they turned a Pokestar Studios opponent into a Pokemon.
I wouldn't really consider it a spoiler. Especially since for some reason the links don't work. It's effectively meaningless out of context. It's not like I said "They made Brycen-Man a Pokemon!"

The sad, REAL American dichotomyMight wanna spoiler that.
Also your links are broken.

I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult.Speaking of Pursuit, I never really considered it a big deal before they decide to remove it, since I preferred using stronger Dark type moves like Crunch. Then again, I never really played Competative, so I can get pretty out of the loop for it.
Edit: Also, what do you guys mean by "removed physical moves"? I didn't recall the newer games removing any Ghost moves as much as the other types.

Honestly I've an easier time comparing Iron Thorns to a certain Aegir Iberian swordsman than I do Brycen-Man, and that is mostly because of the name and Paldea being based off Spain! You're gonna have to explain the joke here

Speaking of Iron Thorns, when I first learned about it I thought it was not from the future, but instead an alternate reality where all the Mecha-Tyranitar movies actually happened.
It could be based on the mecha-tyranitar movies if the tulpa theory is correct
Wait wait wait togedamaru doesn't learn zing zap anymore?
nooo why?
My favorite pikaclone getting done DIRTY.
EDIT: nvm I think it's because it's not in the game yet?

Really wish that Zing Zap could be learned by the other electric types like Luxray and Pawmot who could both benefit from having it same with Aura Wheel, just have it so that the type changing gimmick only applies to Morpeko.

Check out Rogues Gallery Transplant: The GameI wish other types got the Water treatment of both special/physical having decent options with good accuracy.
Secret SignatureWild Charge should be a Double Edge variant. Volt Tackle should be a Head Smash variant. Will die on this hill.
Volt tackle shouldn't be exclusive to pikachu either, but we can't get everything we want.
It can't even use volt tackle well

It can, equal offensive stats.
Honestly, just give Raichu Light Ball and enjoy the chaos.
You know, all this time, I could have sworn the pikachu line had higher special attack than physical attack.
Electric was a special type till Gen IV. Combined with Pikachu being the most iconic Pokemon and an iconic Electric type, and with the Electric type's specifications that Special Attack is usually higher... it's an easy mistake to make.
Doesn't help that Pikachu's electric moves used to be moves that would only feel Special instead of Physical for quite a while too. Even in Gen IV, they're all Special moves. The physical attacks are most often Normal moves anyway.
Going over the new SV Pokemon, and it's led me to wonder... how many 3-stage lines were added per generation?
Honestly, making Rock resist Ghost and Ghost weak to Rock would be pretty hilarious and not entirely farfetched.
