"Have a good day. Have a good week. Have a good month. Have a good year. Have a good life." ~CiviaThis gets to be a pagetopper? Ridiculous, throw it back in the ocean and shoot it with a shotgun.
...Today? I mean, it's still early May.

Trans rights are human rights. TV Tropes is not a place for bigotry, cruelty, or dickishness, no matter who or their position.
Eh. I don't think Meta's comment was that bad.
Bewear of (Gre)'s there Fred.
Edit: Damn. Fell into my own trap. That's life I suppose.

Trans rights are human rights. TV Tropes is not a place for bigotry, cruelty, or dickishness, no matter who or their position.Apparently it depends on which branching paths you take? Read that somewhere so it might be incorrect.
The Protomen enhanced my life.finally got it
gotta love the good ol "it wont happen until you complain about it" curse
"Have a good day. Have a good week. Have a good month. Have a good year. Have a good life." ~CiviaI already did. I started with Thief 3.
I mention it, however, because that fanbase is a perfect example of the same problem Snap is going through if someone is - say - looking to reviews in order to see if they want to buy the game. If all the reviews of the newer game are "this is nothing like the old one, and so it's bad" and all the reviews of the older game are "this is the classic, it's nothing like the newer one, thus it's good" it's difficult to find a review that actually tells the person looking anything about the merits or lack thereof of either of said games.
It happens with a lot of series that are both niche yet also have a "classic" identity, tbh. While Pokemon is a big series, Snap has always been kind of a neglected side-corner of the franchise, so it gets the problem too.

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain."It happened one morning — a boy with extrasensory powers awoke in bed transformed into Kadabra."
Wonder if his parents were like "Quick, let's trade him with Danny across the street so he'll evolve!"

Oh God! Natural light! Is Meowth in New Pokemon Snap? He's my favorite character and I loved taking pictures of him in the original (after I'd knocked the Pidgeys away so he'd dance. Super cute.)
see my completed Tangled (Varian) fanfic collection! https://archiveofourown.org/works/24467056/chapters/59049532Yes, Meowth is in New Pokémon Snap.
Great, thank you.

A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Took a long time for me to find spring in the forest, and now I'm just looking for winter, where is it
"Leftover items still have value!"winter is play the flute at the trevenant in front of the giant floating rock on research level 3. that will unlock a branch path, then when you go down it, throw an illumina orb at the espeon
"Have a good day. Have a good week. Have a good month. Have a good year. Have a good life." ~Civia...I'm only research level 2 on that stage. I've definitely never encountered any Espeons on that stage, nor any explicitly branched paths. But I have seen winter twice. Both times were in the first non-foggy area.
I mean, if that method works consistently, then that's awesome, but I'm thinking that whatever the actual trigger is, is still a bit of a mystery.
Impulse bought myself a copy. I'm not sure what to do next though. I've taken a photo of Meganium but I can't seem to figure out how to unlock the next area. The game keeps telling me to draw out new Pokemon in the nature park using the scan aand flufffruit but no matter how much I use those things no new Pokemon are showing up to snap photos of. Though I'm only on Research Level 2 in the park during the daytime and level 1 during nighttime. Speaking of which Can I only take a picture of Scorbunny burning the fruit (Because I'm pretty sure that's the culprit.) on higher levels of the park at night?

Sometimes unlocking the next area requires reaching research level 2 in every area you have. As for the scorched fruit: The culprit is actually not a fire type, the mission name is a bit more literal then you might expect.
Is there any benefit to lowering the research levels? So far it feels like later levels have all the earlier Pokemon and more.
The Protomen enhanced my life.It might be easier to get certain special shots? I remember lowering the research level for one particular request because the Arbok I was trying to photograph wasn't showing up in higher research levels.
Granted, I may not have been looking really hard for it in the rest of the levels, but going back to research level 1 was the easiest way for me to get the shot.
I know that "Arbok Falls, Asleep", in Jungle (Night), is only available at research level 1, because the Arbok will be out of its tree at higher levels. There might be more missions with similar complications.
I've finally managed to line up those Exeggutor on the beach, but they're so finicky about following my fruit trails that by the time I get the third one to sit down I'm far away and at a bad angle. I have no idea how to get them into place faster when the first one is basically facing directly away from where it needs to go for the first 20 seconds.

i wish there was a break button. like, give it some juice that refills over time so you cant stay parked indefinitely, but like if i could sit still for like ten seconds on some maps thatd be swell

I mean, that happens with a lot of fandoms.
Not much but to enjoy what you enjoy by your own standards.
And give both sides weapons and let them wipe each other out. But that's ridiculous.
Like, do you know how much that would cost?
