Or a rhyme just like they did with "kicking it with Kalos" just two days ago.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does. It's certainly one way to do Sinnoh remakes and continue the Let's Go games at the same time. I personally wouldn't mind that so much, FRLG and HGSS were needed to get the first two gens back into the modern data-structure (y'know, before the Virtual Console), ORAS was a bit of a letdown compared to Emerald, and I'm in the apparent minority that actually liked LGPE (despite a few minor gripes). But I'd certainly wince in empathy for the crushed dreams of everyone else if that turned out to actually be the case.
A society grows great when old men plant trees whose shade they know they will never sit in.Boy would that be divisive.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.I'd take Let's Go remakes for Sinnoh over having generation nine start this year (S Ince this year is a bigger anniversary than the last one which introduced a new generation, generation nine starting this year has a higher chance than usual. And since Journeys features all regions a new generation could still work with the anime.) to be honest. Regular DP remakes are more ideal than either though.
Naw, it's too early for a new generation; it hasn't even been two years since Gen VIII started. Generations usually last 3-4 years.
No matter what game we get this year, whether its Let's Go or just normal DPP remakes, it's gonna be a Gen 8 game. Gen 9 I'm expecting in either late 2022 or 2023.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Yeah it's too early but I wouldn't be surprised if they did it anyways in order to capitalize on this year being the 25th anniversary, especially because they gave us a new generation to celebrate the 20th anniversary which isn't as big a deal as the 25th. I'm hoping they don't do that but I'd say there's a 75% chance they don't and 25% chance they do.
I don't see how they can't just do a another Gen 8 game to celebrate the 25th. It's a celebration of the WHOLE series, not just for new stuff.
Mario didn't release anything new for it's 35th anniversary aside from updated versions of older games, and so is Zelda for it's 30th.

A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Gen 8 won't feel complete until it has all Pokemon available. Until that point, it is incomplete.
Remakes here we come.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.My inner cynic says that GF wouldn't care...but also that they would use Gen 9 to ensure that the missing mons have a place to go to on the Switch besides HOME
So, hypothetically, if a Sinnoh remake is announced and it contains all the Pokemon not in Sword and Shield in any way, how many Pokemon would that be?
Funny how a majority of those were from gen 3 instead of 4...
Gen 3 remakes, Let's go Johto, and then they might revisit Sinnoh.
Feelings Pokemon players will never have.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyWe're in a strange situation since the DLC box has not only been opened, but been Very effective of keeping things fresh throughout the generation. In all my years i never had a problem with catching too many pokemon until this game ^^;
But in a meta sense, we've essentially had 3 seperate meta eras in smogon singles, and many more in VGC if you count Seasons slowly adding gigantimax mons to the mix as well. I was very wary of this approach at first but it been really nicely done so far....but how long can this go on? if they announce a new game, will that have DLC too? Should we expect all future games to have DLC or just the ones opening up the new gen? a lot of questions need to be answered.
Oh, and there's also no guarantee these new games, whether it be a remake or not, will have full functionality with Sword and Shield directly. Which would mean probably no direct battles, as mons that dont exist in one game could appear in the other. In which case it would have its own isolated meta from Swsh, and a whole bunch of other things I'm sure we'll have plenty of calm civil discussions of
Mainline games should absolutely expect DLC going forward.
Remakes? We'll have to see with whatever is coming this year next year, but right now it's hard to tell.
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."The Pokemon Company has to know what the first line of this tweet would remind people of. But don't worry, they seem to be doing one tweet per generation.
Seriously though, "Let's Go Sinnoh" would be a disappointment.

The sad, REAL American dichotomyLet's Go Pachirisu and Let's Go Buneary.
We all know one of those would be lets go riolu
If they are developing a Let's Go game it would most likely be set in the Johto region. They would probably be developing a mainline Sinnoh game at the same time as a "Let's Go Marill".
"My swimsuit fits me well, right?" - CynthiaIt'd be Pikachu and Eevee with a regional subtitle.
Yeah you're right. We only got a few days left anyway, if anything happens it will be anice belated bday gift.
