If there ever is that Slave Rebellion, I suggest that Phi be defeated by the Ironbiter, who, having been informed of the Nomad's presence by one of the Challengers, punches a hole in the fabric of reality and takes on Phi in a final epic battle to the death, fulfilling their feud at the cost of both their lives.

Something occurs to me, though; even if Narumi, distraught over her mother's death, proposed to her father, why the hell would the man accept rather than try to calm her down and help his daughters work through their grief in a sane fashion?
