Shinji And Warhammer 40k

Well, I hope the rewrite goes well and the story gets finished. I love it already and want to see it end better than canon.

Me too, but I think we are all still in limbo until the writer finishes updating what he has written so far and starts on the new stuff.

The author has finally posted a new chapter. :3 Just two or three chapters left, he says.

... Wow. Everything broke. EVERYTHING.

The Fanfic Yakuza were better. Their reviews were entertaining.

Also. It went on way too long. I remember when it first popped out it was new and interesting. But it didn't so much jum the shark as lazily crawl over it and I lost interest.

I only read the first chapter of the fic in questio, but the riff above rendered some chuckles.

I read the whole fic up until the rewrite and the riff made me have a very opposite reaction to yours.

Different strokes for different folks and all that.

I just wonder how Ikari Shinji from this fic and Harry James Potter-Evans-Verres from Methods of Rationality would get along. Seeing as how Harry actually wants to be God Emperor of Mankind.

For some reason, S&W40K didn't get me interested enough to make me proceed, but I like to read riffs, especially of big fics. Other example would be Fallout Equestria, I don't care neither for Fallout, neither for Equestria, nor for Fallout Equestria, but reading Pannic's liveblog earned me some laughs.

At this point, I'm wondering just what is going to happen. I mean, Third Impact has essentially been broken and the one asshole that always gets karma coming to him got away scot-free.

Oh, and Shinji's body is tearing itself apart with god power.

According to the writer, the fic is around eighty percent completed now, and he is concentrating on finishing it before he finishes the total rewrite that he did on the earlier chapters.

So, time for Ikari Shinji's body to learn how to deal with the forces methinks.
