Just know that Ride to Hell has one of the best Best Friends moments of all.

I recommend watching their NBA Livin Da Dream Lets Play. It's not quite at Cage's level of cringe, but there's some moments that reach close enough.

It's also only ten episodes and the videos are between ten and twenty minutes long, except for the finale.

Woolie is back with fresh DMC 5 after a week.

I decided to break my usual stance and am going through their Lament of Innocence playthrough. TBF, it's been a long time since I played that game so I don't remember too much about it.

Woolie reached the cutscene that explains V's true origins. His reaction was pretty subdued, because he'd already guessed it long before.

In fairness I feel like the game does telegraph it quite strongly. Subtlety is not this series' focus.

I did really enjoy every time the game dropped a hint Woolie would go "oooohhhhh" and Pat would playfully go "huh? whuh? What are you talking about?".

I didn't have any real idea who V was until we got to the cutscene of him preparing to stab Dante. May not be subtle, but it didn't need to be.

So, V isn't Varsuvius?

DMC 5: I'm a little unclear about what the specific event was that made Vergil start to fall apart. Was it becoming Nello Angelo? Dante can get impaled no problem, so I'm not 100% sure what it was that messed Vergil up so badly.

Well remember that he still spent his life in the demon world, so his body was eventually gonna start deteriorating from fight after fight.

It's recovering from being Nelo Angelo I think. He was mindcontrolled and transformed into something else, after all.

At that point he had taken so many beatings and so much damage over the years that even his demonic Healing Factor wasn't able to stave off death for much longer.

Currently wondering which to watch first, the Megaman X Command Mission lp or the Nier lp. Already watched the Evil Within 2 lp.

I am staying off Woolie's Nier LP because I intend to play that game at some point.

As they point out themseles, Megaman X Command Mission is more of a podcast with gameplay in the background than an LP.

Guess I'll give the Nier one a gander.

Mostly solo, but Billy did pop his head in for a little bit.

(To explain why he doesn't like Dark Souls and gave up on Bloodborne after not even reaching the first lamp. He couldn't find the ladder.)
