I guess I'm not that easily amused.

That's nothing. My dad...my dad...sheesh. He forces me to save the world. Over and over again. You don't know how much pressure that puts on me...and I'm only 14...and everyone that I'm working with is crazy. Why can't he get someone else to save the world? I mean he's got this pretty girl who does everything he tells her to do! And then there's this crazy German girl who loves beating up monsters far more than I do. Why can't he just get them to save the world?
Besides, I don't think it's just about saving the world. With Dad, he...always seems to be up to something. I mean, I can't get why he's using us. I mean, I'm totally incompetent, and every time I win a battle against one of these totally alien monsters from freaking nowhere, it's by the skin of my teeth, and I don't even know how it happens. It's like my machine comes alive and just saves me, for goodness's sakes. And my commanding officer's also a complete drunken slob whose good looks probably got her this far....

Wow, I feel sorry for you, OP. I have such a nice life so I wouldn't really understand how that feels.
My father and mother just sit around the house all day, seven days a week. My father likes to gamble on baseball, and my mother is busy developing an illegal ROM for cheating on slot machines. My father tells me, 'When I win big, I'll take you to Hawaii.' Then my mother says, 'Your father is not allowed to leave the country, so that will never happen. Ha ha ha.' Our house is always filled with laughter.

I heard they stole my paycheck and lost it all on Pachinko, though. Also my organs were sold for ￥156,804,000 to some very nice people, but at least it wasn't like that time where the ring A-tan gave me was sold to a pawn shop...
