Although Ellen is probably safe - she's neeeded for other reasons - the author has repeatedly threatened to kill someone off in this arc, and Nanase looks like she's about to give herself a cerebral aneurysm.
..more to the point, I'm looking for a trope that applies to this particular page. Earn Your Happy Ending does apply, but more to the comic as a whole.

Alright, didn't feel like making ANOTHER one of these threads, so...Necromancy. A way of getting eleventh hour superpower is often seeing most of the characters "praying" for the success of your party, as often seen in JRPGS, such as Earthbound, Persona 3, FF IV, and to an extent, FF X. Do we have this? I've been looking for it...

This comic needs to have some sort of mention on the page, but I'm having trouble deciding which trope fits. My first guess was crowning moment of awesome, but.. what do you call it when someone forces themselves to go through hell (or in this case, die a lot - complete with pain) for their love?
