This is the thread we use to talk things over with people who have received a suspension notice. A lot of the time the notice goes out just so we can explain how seriously we take certain things, not because we want the person to feel bad and go away.
If you're suspended, give What to Do If You Are Suspended a read, then post here to begin your appeal. We try to respond to appeals in order via batch posts every few days. If a moderator has responded to your appeal, you will receive a notification in your private messages, even if you're suspended from PMs.

Don'ts
- Don't be rude. Rule 1 applies here, too.
- Don't try to negotiate your suspension outside of this thread, such as by sending Private Messages to moderators or posting elsewhere. Such activity may be thumped or otherwise removed, and may warrant an additional suspension block if it keeps happening. All communications have to take place within this thread.
- Don't respond to other suspended users. This is a place for you to discuss your suspension, not others'.
- Don't post multiple times about your appeal if it hasn't been a few days since your last reply from us, since it makes it more difficult to compose responses. If you've posted, we're likely looking at it, and kindly request you to be more patient.
- Don't make another account to try and get around your suspension. This is called ban evasion and will get you bounced. (Again, read What to Do If You Are Suspended if you don't know what these words mean.)

I will not be unbanning you at this time. You can start working on your grammar in this thread. Post edits you want to make in that thread; the responding user will give you corrections. If/when your edits need little to no corrections, you can come back here to re-appeal your suspension.

It was literally just explained what you need to do. Ignoring direction like that is not going to help your chances of being unsuspended.

Uh, it looks like I was suspended, but I didn't get any PM explaining why.
If it's for the stuff in the MCU thread, I thought I was being civil enough, but perhaps not. I'll apologize for it, but I just don't appreciate it when people outright tell me what to think. (The post wasn't thumped, though, so I'm not even sure it's that.)

So, again, I don't know which post got me suspended, since none of them were thumped. And rereading my MCU posts, I actually think they were all pretty civil (if a bit impolite at the end), making me even more confused over whether or not they got me suspended.
My other suspension came with an explanation and this one didn't. Hell, my thumps came with an explanation.
I’m going to assume you forgot to read my post, so this is what I wrote: “Ok, I will answer that question. The reason why I did it is because I wanted to help out and add an article. I thought it was good to launch, as it seems like a regular trope. I didn’t know it was against the rules, so I decided to do it. I just thought it would expand the wiki, and I was surprised there wasn’t an article of it before.” I hope this answers your question.
~alliterator, your impoliteness/incivility (however you would like to refer to it) has been a problem in the past, and we've seen it off and on ever since your last suspension release. Some are edge cases, some are more obvious. In either case, it's apparent that you like to pursue arguments beyond the tastes of others.
However, in the past week, you've been thumped and warned multiple times in the Star Wars: TROS thread, warned here for a weird dog-with-a-bone tangent, and were once again fighting in the Marvel thread most recently.
Frankly, if we had more manpower and acted in some capacity on every single holler made about your aggressiveness in the forums, you probably would have been suspended much sooner. I don't think there's a path out of this for you.

I mean, the "fighting" only happened after someone wrote something incredibly rude (and I don't see them getting thumped or suspended), but sure.
"Why are you punishing me when I say you should be punishing this person instead" doesn't work here.

Granted I'm still suspended from any other edits that sounded like I don't like this. Even if I were lifted from this embargo I'd decided to look up discussions and help from English if I am going to edit stuff.

~Fighteer: I ordinarily follow the standard for indentation, but sometimes forget or assume it's not too much of an issue, so I'll try to keep it in mind in the future. The response to the notifier was a result of stress and I'll try to avoid doing it again.

I was trying to make an edit on an article today and I noticed that my privileges were suspended, which I found odd because I don't remember breaking any rules.

You're not able to edit at all. You are completely suspended from editing. Do you want to discuss what you can do to fix that? I feel like you may be missing what's going on here.
