Yeah but iirc there's a little continuation line or something that shows you that some of the side stories have good endings. I don't remember the details given that I didn't play Extella myself because it turns out I hate musou games.
What happens if you clip Tamo's tail right off?
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."I'd have to take another look, I haven't played Extella in a while and the side stories are mostly a blur to me since they're all stupidly grindy (since servants don't level at the same rate and there's no real way to catch them up) and a lot of them are really bland imo.
Another one of the Tamamo Nine is made
Cmon, we know that answer

"There's not a girl alive who wouldn't be happy being called cute." ~Tamamo-no-MaeCan I use it to make a fur coat?
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."I want to see Gils story continue with his corruption by the Concept Deoty of Vengeance tbh.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession. Both Karna and Artoria's sub-routes ends with the White Titan being defeated, so neither is pruned at the end.
Nero's ends the same way, but her's ends up getting pruned.
If you watch the end credits, the background shows the progress of the timeline you're in. It's made very explicit that's what you're looking at in the credits of the Golden Poem Arc.
The only two timelines that keep their glow are Tamamo's and the Golden Poem Arc. Nero's timeline loses it's glow right as Hakuno dies, and Altera's timeline outright stops riiiight before the time where the Quantum Lock/Pruning would take place (Archimedes explicitly says this iirc).
"There's not a girl alive who wouldn't be happy being called cute." ~Tamamo-no-MaeApparently the JP version just straight up tells you if a route will be Pruned◊ in its title card but the translated version◊ doesn't because I dunno they didn't want to spoil ahead of time
Oh, fascinating. I'd love to take a closer look at that, maybe I'm wrong. All I have is the English credits sequence
"There's not a girl alive who wouldn't be happy being called cute." ~Tamamo-no-MaeHey Bleye that Tamamo with Twice vs Tamamo with Hakuno CCC fight got fully translated.
Oh perfect timing, thanks!
What I said earlier definitely applies.
I really really like how Hakuno and Tamamo are supposed to be weaker than Twice and his Tamamo, since Hakuno is a terrible mage (and technically not even alive) and Tamamo was summoned in a horrible state, whereas Twice is a really strong magus and probably summoned Tamamo in a way better condition.
But despite that Hakuno and Tamamo win anyway because they have a stronger bond.
I know it's cheesy but this is exactly what I live for.
...sometimes I forget that Tamamo is actually incredibly weak throughout the vast majority of Extra and CCC.

Happy Birthday to the least interesting Shiki!
And here's to another year of no Tsukihime remake!
The least interesting Shiki is Shiki, not Shiki.
For a full rankdown, it goes: Shiki>Shiki>Shiki>Shiki>Shiki.
Uh, one of them is "Shiki", thank you very much.
So someone should make a Shiki version of the "I'm Squidward" meme?
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."shouldn't there be seven shikis
i mean one of them was a fake but that should still count
1) Ryougi 2) Caps Lock Ryougi 3) Void Ryougi 4) Toono 5) Caps Lock Toono 6) Nanaya
Arguably only 5 since Nanaya is not real.
You mean the dude pretending to be Shiki in Genshi Doumei.

So a random question about Avalon - it's well established how super unbeatable it's defence is, but does it have some practical weaknesses? Does it have a time limit? How much prana it guzzles down? And is it just super fancy bonded field, or does it really transport Artoria to Avalon? If the letter, could good enough dimension hopper bypass Avalon, the NP, by jumping to Avalon, the place?
The biggest limit is that it's an actual artifact, not a NP, so Artoria needs to pick the damn thing up whenever she's summoned.
Other than that, I'd imagine it has the usual weakness of every shield: it's only useful if the enemy is attacking from the direction you pointing it at.
It's not a shield, it's basically a partial teleporter. You go somewhere else, so any attack goes through where you were.
Implicitly, it's extremely cost inefficient, which is why it's only activated for a moment at a time. If it was easy to use she'd just walk around in a bubble all the time and shank people from behind then pop back into fairyland.
It protects against the Second Magic, so no, actually going to Avalon itself to hit her shouldn't work.

It's phasing Arthuria into Avalon, so I think the direction it's pointing is irrelevant. The only practical weakness I remember is that the effect is active for as long as Excalibur is sheathed and no matter how great of a Saber you are, you can't cut with a sheathed sword.
Huh, could've sworn the thing blacked Ea at the end of Fate. Unless that's anothr mistranslation.
...wait, can't Galahad do that with a skill?
Huh Avalon does have a weakness.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."I'm glad to see something of a weakness. I admittedly didn't understand the logistics of Avalon beyond letting Artoria face-tank world-breaking stuff like Ea. Being able to say "Ha-ha, fuck you" to every and any sort of attack is beyond broken.

A cruel, sick joke is still a joke, and sometimes all you can do is laugh.
I was specifically talking about the main four story routes and whether or not they got quantum locked/pruned more than whether they had a "Good" ending or not
Though unfortunately it looks like all of the "side route" timelines are dimmed out much like Nero's route is after Hakuno more or less dies and the timeline gets quantum locked/pruned.
