A lot of problems with early singularities is a lot of padding with flimsy excuses.
>ok, here is plot critical information, but first let's pause everything for this arbitrary battle sequence.
You could streamline a lot, but the padding is 75% of early story singularities.
And I agree with Shulgo, I doubt this Anime will do well beyond the people already into Fate since its probably going to expect you to know things from the first six singularities. Sure, every singularity is self-contained, but they're all part of the same ongoing story arc.
But oh well; Anime based on Visual Novels aren't new to this. I'm mostly watching to see if the Animation stacks up.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does. Why not replace some of the battle padding with character exploration and development? The UBW anime expanded on some things like Medea's backstory or showing how many elements of Zero influenced the story.
Since Ritsuka is a blank protagonist in comparison to Shirou -who had various monologues in the VN- I'm sure that now they have to add some dimension to his character and, as a consequence, show how the other characters interact with him.
And if you need to extend the showtime, then you can explore with more detail the eras in which the team has rayshifted. I think the team would have the budget to do the reseach in the various societies and periods in which Chaldea has to work like France during the Late Middle Ages, Rome during the High Roman Empire and so on.

Instead of focusing on relatives that divide us, we should find the absolutes that tie us.They've been giving Guda a personality for well over a year now. Not the most complex personality but if they focus on his quirks it'll probably work out fine.
And when in doubt, throw in a joke about his nerves around Astolfo.
Regardless of your opinion of the last American election, we can all agree on one thing- The Chinese Communist Party can choke on scrotes! They better the flying Plancha properly
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.protag trying to body slam quetz from the sky better be in
mostly because that's what made me end up really really really liking quetz, when she catches you and lightly chastizes you for doing something so stupid
"There's not a girl alive who wouldn't be happy being called cute." ~Tamamo-no-MaeIf the anime doesn't have the flying plancha that's reason enough to consider it a failure.
What's up? Been a while. What's going on in Fate lately?
I'm mainly back in the thread because I'm trying to remember something:
The Einzbern family said Kiritsugu betrayed them and refused to allow him back into the mansion (with his loss of magical power meaning he couldn't just break in) or even speak with him.
But as I understand it, they didn't actually know he destroyed the grail himself, because if they did, they'd know WHY he did it, since the two are kinda connected.
So when they say he betrayed them, they really mean you failed, so get to getting if I understand things right.
....what's this about flying planchas?
One Strip! One Strip! It's been a really long time, but for what I remember, they knew he did it but didn't know why. Mages tend not to bother asking.
Oh, the Einzberns are fully aware of what's inside the Holy Grail, they just don't give a fuck.
After all, what's a few thousands of lives and the possibility of snuffing out humanity compared to reaching the Root and making some lovely oden?

Yeah, that makes sense.
I did consider that they weren't aware (since Kerry was the first to find out so how could they) but it's totally within their character to know and just keep trying anyway. Hell, they were the ones who corrupted it in the first place. Now that I think about it, how could they not know?
Though it doesn't matter either way. They are the dumbest mages in a universe of extremely dumb mages.
One Strip! One Strip!BTW, the flying plancha refers to the way the Chaldea crew convinces Quetzalcoalt to pull a HeelβFace Turn.
Quetz, also affectionaly referred to (by the fanbase) as Lucoa, comes to love Lucha Libre. So we have the brilliant idea of doing a bodyslam of the century with the help of Ishtar...who throws you from a hundred meters in the air.
You can choose, then, to go down screaming obcenities at her...or you can do this.

...
That's pretty cool.
Man, if Fate hadn't oversaturated itself with Waifus and illogical gender flips (some of them could work, but some of them just can't make sense), I'd probably come back and start catching up on everything I've missed.
One Strip! One Strip! No worries, the anime will adapt that story chapter, and you'll never even have to deal with the grind, you fucking miserable millenial cuck!
And it'll have the flying plancha, or I swear to God, I'll go to the Clover Work studio and Batista Bomb all the animators there to death.
huh? that's a rather odd complaint to have given most of the "waifu saturation" comes from lackadaisical events and the actual meat and potatoes of the story is still very much serious
"There's not a girl alive who wouldn't be happy being called cute." ~Tamamo-no-MaeAhaha the second HEAVENβS FEEL movie is up for streaming now.
No dub though, huh weird.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Bah! Ron Simmons Spinebuster or go home.
A John "Bradshaw" Layfield Clothesline from hell would also be acceptable.
As for Waifus, it's funny since I like fan service and boobs, but I guess if it gets out of control it kinda pushes me away.
It is good to hear the story is still pretty dark (though Fate has always had a bit of a Mood Whiplash thing going).
One Strip! One Strip! And trust me, nothing encapsulates that better than the Babylonia chapter, being both the funnier and darkest of not only the whole game, but arguably the franchise.
Nasu makes it work, though, thanks to pulling a leaf out of Silent Hill 4's book and separating the silly and serius sides of the plot with a literal wall, only for the serious to invade the silly and everything starts going to hell in a way it would make Muv-Luv Alternative proud.
Babylonia is pretty funny because you have comical moments like what hail described.
Then the eldritch god awakens and begins to corrupt the entire world, forcibly turning all of the friends and allies you've made into horribly twisted mutations and the revelation that no matter what you do, none of the people that have died can be saved.
Nasu is a treasure.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.on the bright side we got stuff like Fate/Accel Zero Order that was just a fantasy of everything going right for once and not things getting way darker than the original script
cough cough Urobuchi
"There's not a girl alive who wouldn't be happy being called cute." ~Tamamo-no-MaeDoes Urobuchi still have a lot of influence over the franchise?
I thought he was just brought in primarily for Zero?
And like, it's not as though Nasu needs him to make thing unnecessarily dark. He can do that himself.
One Strip! One Strip! No, but he's buddies with Nasu and wrote an event and a story chapter for FGO's second arc.
And believe it or not, said chapter thus far is the lightest one released, all the others have been pretty consistently grim and depressing.
Of course, the current arc is a literal fight against other worlds for their right to exist, so darkness is to be expected.
Wake me up at your own risk. The current arc you're basically destroying alternate realities to restore your own world, and yes you are essentially killing people
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.
I think I can trust the writers to improve on their work and fix the biggest problems with their singularities, I feel they have improved since then. Now managing that in a single OVA is kinda questionable but I'm sure cutting out the Wyvern sections would shave off enough filler for everything else to fit nice and easy.
