Lies. Dark Souls is oved by many!
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.I'm pretty sure that's the legitimate reading
like Extella material explicitly discusses pruned timelines as analogous to video games having multiple ends
If we had to put it in terms of good and bad though, a good flow is a flow ripe with possibilities that will continue to produce even more variations, and a bad flow is a one-way flow that has become so radical that itβs no longer able to alter its path.
It is thought that among pruned events there have been ideal worlds that are more advanced than any of the worlds in the compiled events and full of hope and happiness.
However, as these worlds are completed and finished as they are, there is no reason to see them to the end, and once the conditions for the ideal world have been established, these worlds are pruned.
The universe does not use energy for obvious outcomes.
The universe continues to expand for the sake of a future that no one can know of yet, no matter how much of a higher dimensional being it is.
To digress, if we were to use Melty Blood as an example, the Tatari routes are compiled events and the Tohno family Kohaku Musou routes are pruned events.
I have to say that the idea that the universe values neither good nor evil but just uncertainty and will actively prune timeliness that achieved stability is a more horrifying Cosmic Horror Story than any number of tentacled monsters could achieve.
Kudos to Nasu.
I mean that would fit in nicely with tentacle horrors. In a universe where humans are insignificant specks and the horrors around wouldn't notice and care a small dirtball with pes, and the only stability is that we live in ignorance of it.
It actually would tie nicely into that because it means even if you found a means to escape such a reality, you'll be erased as part of a Dead End.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.x2 No, I think such an idea fits in nicely with Lovecraft's usual nihilistic narratives: we are so insignificant to these otherworldly beings that they don't bat an eye at wiping us out by the trillions simply because we are not entertaining anymore.
My problem with this is the simultaneous pushing of the "Age of Will", as the final and determined outcome of humanity. Wouldn't any timelines where that occurred get pruned? No matter how it's done or why?
isn't there a subtle sub-plot of Arthur trying to find out what's pruning timelines and how to stop it?
or at least some semblance of a plot like that anyway
"There's not a girl alive who wouldn't be happy being called cute." ~Tamamo-no-Maehe's just hunting Manaka's pet that somehow survived because we need a Proto event eventually.
Secret SignatureHeh something funny I realized.
Despite Archer's own apparent hatred towards the ideal of the "Hero" he still dies some pretty damn heroic deaths, especially in the Fate & HF route.
Can you actually be a tsundere towards your own ideals?

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Basically
Thereβs an amazing scene in hollow where he lectures the track girls and others iirc on saving a cat because blah blah not actually helping the cat learn to not be dumb and other shit on why this kind of heroics is stupid while heβs the one who actually gets the cat down
I think
His personality hasn't changed that much, he just doesn't bother keeping his internal monologue to himself anymore.
Heart of StoneI would remark that people can't lern from their mistakes if you let them die, but he may be right about the cat. How often do you find dead cats in trees?
He still believes in and follows the ideal. He's just bitter about it.
F/SN Archer despite everything canβt throw it away. Heβs basically throwing an existential temper tantrum because of how much he hates himself
IIRC one of the reasons he dies for Shirou in Heaven's Feel is because he respects how he's willing to discard his ideals for Sakura's sake.
Heart of StoneSo based on the requirements they're looking for in potential Studio BB employees, it seems like they'll be making 2D action/RPG/strategy games with Unity or Unreal for mobile or console

You know, this may be an unpopular opinion in regards to the Fate-verse, but from what all I've consumed in regards to the series, Prisma Illya may actually be my third favorite, after Zero and Heaven's Feel. Is that weird?
After it sops being a loli-yuri-fanservice bait I've heard the story gets pretty good.
And I know a lot of people here read Mahou Sensei Negima back in the day, so who are you to judge?
how do you feel about miyuverse!shirou in comparison to heaven's feel!shirou
Prisma Illya primary demographic are lolicons. There, I said it. Fite me.
Why would I fight you for telling the truth.
Its not like you said an actual like like pork is better than chicken.

Heretic!!!!
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."
Maybe the World is an avatar of the audience, or even Nasu himseld?
After all, if things are too grim and hopeless, the audience loses their interest, the same happens when everything is too happy and going well.
Ultimately, the purpose of the World in the Nasuverse is to keep an environment where engaging stories can emerge from, not unlike Nasu does.
...or maybe I should just stop reading too much into things at 2 am.
