Anyway kid, I don't got all day, and I've long since gotten really tired of this routine. So just tell me what happened, and get out.

"Well, we were in this shopping mall, and we fought this guy who called himself 'Hazama.' I...guess we lost."

   "Well, it's kinda hard to win when the asshole summons a freaking snake on you!"   

Woah woah woah....did you say Hazama? The hell was that green haired loser doing in your game?

...or were you in his game? Or were the both of you in one entirely different game altogether? Hell I dunno...

"I don't really know. We just sort of...showed up."

   "Hell, maybe we were both in a game on a forum populated by nerds who over-analyze fiction!"   

"Marno, that sounds incredibly stupid."

Pfft, like that would ever happen. Nobody's that much of a loser.

Anyway....how exactly did your fight with Hazama go? Don't spare any details, yeah?

"Well, he tried to backstab me...then he kicked me into the air..."

   "Dude tried to deflect an exploding sword attack with his foot. That didn't work."   

"Then he played dead and summoned a giant snake. I'm pretty sure that's when I...died."

   "And there was that Noel girl he took away before any of this happened. Hope she's okay."   

And then I saved the day and we all had cake. The end.

Playing dead? Huh, that's new...but not really surprising. I see your mistake now. Simply put, you let your guard down. Around guys like Hazama, who like to troll and feed off your emotions and mistakes, you shouldn't let up. Ever. Never assume what he wants you to think.

And don't worry too much about Noel. Her getting captured was just one possibility of the continuum shift. Don't get it? Well tough shit then, because I'm NOT going to explain that clusterfuck of a concept.
