Wait, so all the head-exploding she did in the past was in fact all the Patriarchy's fault? ... Weak.

[up][up]I think it's more "she was playing right in 'their' hands" than "it was 'their' fault".

Ok, to be fair, this new arc is hilarious. I'm seeing a lot of comparisons between this new character and the introduction of L'il E and the Devil.

I'm more surprised that a little 8 year old knows enough about the Fonz to use it as reference. I wouldve gone with Ellen.

I hope we get a multi-story arc with Blue. Her conflicting loyalties are really the selling point or me now

Glitter points? I wonder what they're gonna be used for...

[up][up]Of course, the last time they showed up they were also there for glitter points.

I like those guys. Wish they were given more to do.

Maybe you'd be less disappointed if you stopped expecting things to be Carmen Sandiego movies.

Yes, in fact.

Living in a world where people want to kill you and consume your flesh for sustenance is not comparable to being seen as a sex object.

I thought that last line was particularly Anvilicious. The anvils have been falling heavily these past weeks.

I don't have a problem with it being Anvilicious. Ishita's taken absolute pleasure in dropping anvils on us over the course of the series.

It's just not funny.

You know, if I was given the choice between an imaginary conspiracy of widespread discrimination against my gender or the institutional butchering and eating of my entire species, I wouldn't have to think very hard.

Actually in this one, I think it's the character who drops anvils, rather than the author himself.

I'm feeling oddly nitpicky at the moment, so I'll complain about the way Ishida draws devil horns. As best I can tell, he draws the character's hair, then draws horns as if they've been glued on top of the hair, ignoring the way hair would naturally part around the horns. This bugs me.

In other news, Fuschia's finally having tea with the old lady.
