Is this Tats trying to discredit the moderates by having the Devil take their viewpoints? Because once again the Patriarchy is making the most sense and is the most reasonable.

Perhaps Tats truly believes that change from within a system is impossible and there needs to be a outside revolt from radicals to enact real change.

It also shows the complete lack of historical understanding and context that Tats is famous for, but it would certainly explain the communist streak his heroes seem to have.

What are the reactions to this on the farm like? Speaking of which, how's Tats' new by-radfems-for-radfems joint doing?

It's amazing. One poster has nearly 50% of all posts, and is possibly the most hateful excuse for a human being you could hope to meet. Tat posts quite regularly in support of her, and wields the banhammer freely and often for any and all infractions. So ... just about what you'd expect.

Am I alone in thinking "Do it within the system" is code for "Your getting Bomfed" and Tat's taking his time twisting the knife, and milking it for all it's worth, so he can do it dramatically and in color on Sunday?

That'd actually be really cool. I'll admit it.

Not gonna happen. Women are invincible! Even Tange, who was Bomfed by Satan himself, overcame that minor difficulty in just a few strips. (Slick, on the other hand, was half-Bomfed by a minor demon and never got over it; he's essentially been written out of the comic.)

So when does the other shoe drop? The part that makes this a bad deal. Maybe the channel can only show sex/prostitute positive social justice?

The other shoe drops when it's revealed that, despite all the rave reviews, SJ Ws don't actually spend money on the things they rave about.

Oh they'll watch the shows, but they won't buy anything aired on the commercials. It COULD work as a PBS sort of thing, but that's a big COULD.

Why are any comics involving the main villain of the strip a thousand times nicer than the rest? Seems backwards.

Yeah at this point I am kinda hoping the next thing he does once Monique does her inevitable ranting is

"Oh so how's the friend that got bomfed. Slick I think his name was. Oh right you never told him he was possessed by our prototype. I think a bit of a reward for being our testbed is in order. Blue. See to it this Slick is promoted to a Junior executive position by Monday. Directly under you of course."

The devil is asking for a deal.

Okay, what's the rub here, because if this is being offered clean, I call major bullshit.

PREDICTIONS:

• The theme of this arc will be "Social Justice that isn't Third-Wave Radical Feminist Social Justice isn't Social Justice at all — it's a snare and a delusion intended to mislead women into tolerating evil."

• The Nordic Model will be presented by Tats as the One True Way to deal with prostitution. Decriminalization is evil. All prostitutes are trapped and abused by pimps.

• Amber will be commissioned to do a pro-decriminalization documentary. As part of it, she will interview Orphan Annie, who will tell her that no, there are no prostitutes who support decriminalization, that's just a lie promoted by Satan. (And the hookers in our world who do support decriminalization don't know what they're talking about, according to Tats; he knows better than they do, you see.)

• Amber will bravely and boldly stand up against Satan's propaganda on her Social Justice Channel. As a result, she'll have to go on the run. She will take refuge either in Fuchsia's safe house or at the Witch's Inn.

We shall see ...

The catch is probably that this new channel will make the devil look good while covering for his actual evil deeds. That's pretty brilliant. Basically The Man Is Sticking It to the Man, and the devil is laughing all the way to the (soul) bank.

The devil is using radfem rethoric to corrupt the very radicals it is preaching to. It is suggesting that SJW and radfem ideology are just tools to ensnare people into doing bad things.

Once again, on the cusp of finally convincing us that he really IS drinking the radfem kool-aid, Tats tugs at the rug under our feet, leaving the suggestion that he really is on OUR side, and doesn't actually believe in what he is preaching. Once again, just when we were feeling certain, Tats sows another seed of doubt about his true intentions.

The new forum he made. That's all the evidence I need to see he is absolutely serious. Which only makes me wonder where this is going.

I'm expecting some sort of anti climax tomorrow, perhaps Sunday. She's going to turn it down or Monique is going to interfere somehow.

But then why this comic? That's my point: just when he apparently doubles down on his stated convictions, he throws his other readers a bone suggesting that it is all a ruse.

Besides, he is hardly the first webcomic author to turn tyrannical on his own forum. An alternative explanation could be that he is using it as an excuse to cull dissenters.

It's pretty impossible to get more straightforward about what Tats believes and wants his comics to be. We know what he believes.

You used the word "fans" ... Except for a few fellow travelers, the singular "fan" might be more accurate.

We know what someone believes. It's probably a folie à deux at this point, but I still think he's most likely catering to the beliefs of someone close to him. I now suspect that KALXAK is his sister.

If it is his sister he should do what I do whenever my siblings do something stupid. Ignore them and their inane rants. Its how I also got through my mom practically worshipping Hillary as the messiah for like a year......

Remember all those strips with The Cartoonist and the empty refrigerator? I suspect Tats is living with his sister*, and she's the one with the job. So he pretty much has to suck up to her if he wants to keep eating.

* Actually, I suspect he's living with his sister and her wife, if I'm interpreting these strips properly.
