I think they should bring back their Ocarina of Time designs in Smash. They're the most colorful and iconic. Especially Ganondorf's.

Twilight Princess designs are still the best. Still the definitive versions of all 3 characters to me. Hyrule Warriors is the only one that comes close, but KT, not Nintendo.

I like Ganondorf's OoT design more than his TP design. Link and Zelda look as good in TP as they do in OoT. Zelda might actually look a little better (I'm more into brunettes than blondes, not that anybody asked).

But yeah, all three of them look fantastic in Hyrule Warriors, but those designs might look a little busy for Smash.

Shot in the dark: use Link and Zelda's ALBW designs for dat retro feel. This may be Link's nicest look yet.

I'm under the impression there was not-insignificant involvment from Aonuma's team on Hyrule Warriors in at least an advisory role.

Moreover, I feel like the HW designs of the Triforce Trio are essentially meant as definitive composite designs.

I agree I like the Twilight Princess designs for Link and Zelda but I can't stand the way Ganondorf looks in Twilight Princess I prefer the Wind Waker look for him.

For whatever it's worth, the realistically-proportioned rendition of the Wind Waker look in Hyrule Warriors looks pretty damn good.

Is there one for Link and Zelda as well? I know they got their OOT, TP and SS looks, but I assumed since Toon Link and Tetra were separate characters, they didn't get anything else from Wind Waker.

SS Zelda and ST Zelda remain my favorite designs for Zelda specifically. I don't really have an opinion on the different Links and Ganons though.

Well yeah, but she uses the Toon Zelda design from Wind Waker.

So she is Toon Zelda, just a different Toon Zelda from the original (who's better known as Tetra).

I suppose? That seems like a weird way to word it though. She's as much Toon Zelda as OOT Zelda is TP Zelda.

Its the same character design. In fact she is called Toon Zelda in Hyrule Warriors.

But anyway, I really love Breath of the Wild's Zelda design. Except her Princess outfit which isn't as nice as her Champion and Hylia outfit.

When I say ST Zelda's design is my favorite I'm specifically talking about her when as a ghost. While the base design is the same her coloring is different from that of Tetra as Zelda and from when ST Zelda herself was still alive.

Nah, Ganondorf's Wind Waker Robes costume is a bonus for purchasing the DLC pass for all four rounds of it in HW Legends. Link and Zelda don't get anything like it.

Jumping back a bit to the Guardian Scout thing in BotW, shock arrows, as long as you don't get the shot blocked by a shield, give them a good bit of hurt, stunning them for a few seconds.

No such luck on the non-scout ones, though. Ask me how I know.

I actually beat that Scout IV earlier. Just use elemental attacks and you can stun lock it into oblivion.

So are there any overworld spots for the Spinner I'm not aware of? I only know of the timing puzzle that leads to a Heart Piece, the one that leads to a hole full of Stalfos, and the one I just posted.
