Tick creator Ben Edlund wrote ONE episode of Venture Bros (one of the best IMO), Viva los Muertos.
The Scooby Doo parody one, for those with less title card memorization.
You guys know something I really like?
The sound effect that plays in "Blood of the Father, Heart of Steel" when it shows those comic book titles ("The Human Torch", "The Angel", etc.) during Brock's portions of the episode. (plays between 0:00-0:02 in this video.)
Does anyone know if that specific sound effect has a name? It's so ingrained to my head, it plays every time I get to the plot twist or The Reveal in a comic book or anywhere else.
Double posting because SEASON 7 IS NIGH!!!!
Premiering August 5th at midnight. (Nice to see you again, Order of the Triad.)

Is it really double posting if it's been 9 months?
Also, that's great to hear! And just in time, some friends and I were gonna rewatch some of the show soon.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyI wasn't sure this show was coming back. Will it still resonate with people in the age of Rick and Morty? After all, we've come a long way from laughing at shows about the maladjustment that comes with being a boy dragged along on insane adventures by a genius-yet-abusive parental figure.

Another trailer!
Well, that song is going to be stuck in my head now.
First two episodes of the season are out there for the more skulduggerous of heart.
Without spoiling anything, they do not disappoint.
The second one? Adult Swim put up the first one early, but I don't see the second one.
Formerly KarmaMeter.I'll be honest... I didn't know this show was still on.
I didn't care for it in the first season, well, except for the parts where Molotov Cocktease and that astronaut lady got nekkid, but other then that this show's animation, art style, and humor threw me off.
I didn't care for Superjail either, or China Illinois, or Rick and Morty.
I've since watched all three seasons of Rick and Morty twice, and I might be watching Superjail again soon. So I'd say my appreciation for this kind of warped, maladjusted family dynamic with a genius Jerkass at the helm has improved.
I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!So if you really don't want to stay up until midnight.....
......here. Straight from the Adult Swim website, so nothing bootleg about it.
In the immortal words of Dr. Erhart, ENJOY!
I'm Charlie Owens, good night and good luck. PSNID: CEOIII 1117I think Venture Bros. still flies. They're not nearly as nihilistic as Rick and Morty.
That cliffhanger...
Hank won’t kill the Monarch, we all know that, but the fact he got as far as he did surprised the hell out of me. How he gets out is another matter. And Dad Venture is still...kinda alive?
I don't think Hank's in any real trouble. People are just humoring him, as usual.
Well shit, for years I was sure Jonas was the real head of the Guild. That theory is ruined.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult.I'm completely amazed at the callback from all the way back to season one, "Careers in Science". It's pretty cool that this show manages to find new ways to surprise, even seven seasons and more than a decade later.
Latest blog update (November 5th, 2022).http://www.adultswim.com/videos/the-venture-bros/arrears-in-science the conclusion to the morphonic trilogy is up on the site
So this is this upcoming Sunday's ep? Nice.
I'm Charlie Owens, good night and good luck. PSNID: CEOIII 1117Double post just to say......what the hell.........
I'm Charlie Owens, good night and good luck. PSNID: CEOIII 1117this ep was essentially a 20 min lore dump. and i loved it
Is it bad that I'm outright hoping that Action Man dies from that heart attack? I've been hoping for him to die since Orpheus's prediction years ago.
Who here thinks that right after tonight's episode, the minute Monarch got home, he bawled heavily while being consoled by his wife?
Monarch's revelation is just vague enough he can brush it off and lie to himself just so he doesn't have to deal with it emotionally. And Dr. Mrs. M has no reason to push the issue either.
Good writing answers questions while posing new ones. Who did open the cargo bay doors? They left the strong possibility it wasn't Vendata.
Also I don't think for a second OSI isn't going to try something with Jonah's head.
Lastly, the early 80's Guild look like some pretty cool guys to hang out with.
A big part of why Archer keeps reinventing itself is because all the episodes are written or cowritten by Adam Reed. (I'm pretty sure that's still true, haven't checked in a few seasons.)
