I'm a little confused- Am I right in thinking the PS 4 version has an action-RPG style and a series-standard turn-based style?
I sure said that!I have a feeling that the "free movement style" is akin to Dragon Quest X (the MMO), which had a similar look. Even the layout of the HUD looks similar. I don't think it'll have actual action RPG-based combat, it's just making the traditional battle system look more dynamic (like how Dragon Quest IX's battles looked).
I'm still on the fence on whether or not I'll end up buying both versions of this game, since they both look very appealing to me.
I haven't been paying attention to the updates. That 3DS version looks neato.
but HOW?Now the question is, how long do the rest of us have to suffer?
i. hear. a. sound.Asia gets it this Winter with chinese text etc. NA and EU? Next Summer for the PS 4 version probably if they don't add voice acting. Remains to be seen if Nintendo will want both a Switch version and a 3DS version outside Japan.

Suffferrrrrrrrrrr.
i. hear. a. sound.Seems a lot like FFXII's License Boards.
I sure said that!Sounds more like VIII's skill system with more branching to me.
but HOW?I'm torn between versions;
Either I can get the graphically superior version, or I can have it with me any time and enjoy stereoscopic 3D and even switch to a retro pixel mode.
Apart from battles looking different but not playing any different, everything else is the same between the versions, right?
That "Spell of Restoration" is one hell of an old save bonus.
I do lots of stuff. The real question is am I any good at that stuff.Sorry for the double post but Dragon Quest Heroes II is now out in North America.
Angelo sounds a bit different from what I remember.
Also, is it just me, or does the male lead sound like British Yuri Lowenthal?
but HOW?How big is Dragon Quest in Japan? Well, Nintendo announces a new 2DS version and guess what game gets a bundle and Sony gives it its own custom console.
Generally I hear it's bigger than Final Fantasy in Japan.
And pretty sure FF is huge over there more than the rest of the world?
Zone sounds like a refinement of the Tension system- It wouldn't surprise me if the localization even just calls it that.
I sure said that!Sounds a bit like they tweaked Tension and Co-op De Grace.
... I should go play DQIX and beat it in under 12 hours.
Make sure you get all the Legacy Bosses up to Level 99 afterwards.
I sure said that!Smith sword shields and... Dresses?
Apocalypse: Dirge Of Swans.
My Gameboy Color remake of it had its internal battery and ability to record saves die and I still played through all of it. Completely worth it.
