Hi, I 'm looking for a trope thats like the character is a monster (metaphorically and/or literally) but he tries to use his murderous or sinister urges to do good. Kinda like "I know I'm a monster, a violent thing but maybe if I use this violence to do good I can BE good?" Direct his violence and/or schemes against worse (or lesser) evils then himself to kinda...justify his existence.
