Aventurine in banner two means more time for me to hoard. I'm at 50:50 so I hope hopefully I'll be able to get enough to trigger 2 pities

I was torn between pulling for Acheron or Jingliu, but I guess with this arrangement I can just try the 50:50 for the former and then get the latter if I loose.

Ok, so story hints for 2.1.

Taking Aventurine's plan at face value, he intends to somehow use Robin's death as a way to destroy Penacony. Given his "All or Nothing" speech this might mean he intends to do a hostile takeover of Penacony from the Family on behalf of the IPC.

This is not unexpected all things considered, between the Aurum Alley event and Topaz's actions in Belobog this just seems like the natural progression on the lengths the IPC is willing to go to get what they want.

Acheron's past is now going to come clean (she had Raiden Mei's horns in her flashback) and intends to unleash her full power on Aventurine to thwart his plan, which might set the stage for the climax of Penacony proper in 2.2.

Also, we have a glimpse of a hat (might be the Watchmaker's legacy) and of Firefly, who appears to have cracked skin too so we might speak to her again at one point in 2.1, though given her reveal comes from a cutscene, it might also be her reveal as Sam.

Currently catching up on this morning's live stream and it sounds like March won't be getting a 5 Star. They talked about her being the game's mascot and giving her something similar to Trailblazer's path swapping sometime this year. I'm not sure how to feel about that. On the one hand it being tied to story progression rather than pulls means I can save for, say, a Herta 5 Star as an example or any other future charactr that manages to catch my eye. But on the other hand that means she probably won't get a new design which is a shame because I'd have liked to see what kind of new design they'd come up with for her.

For what is worth, it's not like she can't ascend to a 5 star as the story goes on. F/GO did something similar with its mascot character Mash.

When it comes to March 7th do you think she lost her memories voluntarily or non-voluntarily? I kind of get the feeling that March 7th chose to get rid of her memories for some reason.

Or maybe somebody forced her to lose them. Also a possibility.

I was scratching my head at my plan for 2.1...then I remember that I had been using both JL & Luocha from the friendlist, and both of them combine extremely well with Blade.

So I think the plan is going to be to go for Luocha, then, if I didn't get Gallagher in the meantime, to pull on Acheron's banner until I do, and then to save for Jingliu. With my current haul and the planned rewards I should be able to guarantee it, and with some luck, I might even get Aventurine too, who I'm not gonna lie looks very, very good on paper (kind of like Gepard on steroids...he's going to absolutely break the SU with Preservation path I'm sure).

I'm already set on getting Acheron the moment her banner arrives.

But how many free pulls are we getting so far for 2.1? I didn't expect Jingliu to have her rerun this soon, this may later put me in a bind whether to gamble between pulling for Jingliu herself or pulling for Acheron's signature Light Cone.

I think we are getting 30 free pulls?

She's both in the sense that she's the heroine of F/GO's story and she's also the face of the game (I know Artoria has her face in the app but she's the face of the franchise).

We are going to get a 4 star selector so if you don't get Gallagher while pulling for Luocha you could also use this and save your jades.

The 1600 come per mail for the second banner mind you so don't plan them for your Archeron/Luoacha pulls.

Oh, sweet! Well, I guess youtube will be flooded with "ACHERON IS MUST PULL", "ACHERON IS A TRAP!!", "DON'T WASTE TICKETS ON AVENTURINE" and "AVENTURINE IS A HIDDEN GEM (LOL)" videos soon enough to help me make up my mind.

My only slight issue is that I already have Lynx E6 on that second wave...but Luka & Serval eidolons look interesting, especially Luka. I've started building the Black Swan & Kafka duo and I understand what Nihility is about now.

playing Swarm Disaster after completing Gold and Gears makes the former really seem like the version that needed kinks to be worked out so the latter would have more depth and enjoyment to it. At least the progression tree's different for a change of a pace

Yes, the RNG does not feel fun in SD, it feels punishing. Rolling the dice screws you over more often than not, and you barely get any rerolls.

I managed to clear MOC 10 for the first time, with 3 stars too...but I'm stuck with 1 star on MOC 9 because of the damn Penacony monkey - the same enemy that is the reason I haven't cleared MOC 10 in the previous series.

Which means I am back at wondering whether I should go for Aventurine instead of Luocha, because he looks like he's been tailor-designed to take care of these assholes with his AOE shields and imaginary follow-up.

Arven is pretty much looking like the Luocha of shielding, he starts the fight with a free shield and his follow up attacks keep refreshing them for free, which allows him to stay at a +1 skill point average most of the time. He lacks a cleanse but just passively gives everyone under his shields +50% effect resistance.

Thanks to his one trace converting DEF to CR he doesn't have to sacrifice offense for defense and can deal remarkable personal damage for a sustain.

Yeah I have Gepard, but the monkey doesn't care about Ice damage, and neither do the adds he summons.

I'm telling you, the game really oversells how important reflecting the soda is. All you're getting is a bit of chip damage and a non-stackable defense debuff

Jokes aside, I think it's really neat what it shows about both characters. Black Swan has gotten too used to prodding into others and so even when Acheron tries to pull away she keeps digging and digging. Acheron pulling away could just be because she felt uncomfortable being probed, but it could also be because she wanted to give Black Swan an out, an opportunity she did not take. And thus, fuck around and find out I guess.

Yes and no. Aside from the debuff, it also protects against the fact that it is a multi-hit with no agro mechanic, meaning that if you're unlucky your squishy DPS can hit all soda cans by itself, which can be difficult without a shield.

It just happened to me: I had Clara who just used her ultimate, so was supposed to draw aggro, and Herta ate three cans in the face despite being on the other side of the battlefield.

In contrast the dino's breath hits hard, but all units equally, as AOE usually do.
