Well, they did confirm 4 is in the deal, but there's no hubbub on when they're making it.
Oh thank god. This should easily be a "six seasons and a movie" kind of show. Because it's that great.
Speaking of God, creator Joe Brumm also talked about a god-adjacent joke that never made it.
In "Shadowlands" (the one where Bluey, Snickers, and Coco pretend everything that isn't shadow is water), Coco would've commented "maybe we can walk on water", they would think "no one can walk on water," Snickers pipes up "Jesus can," and Bluey just asks "who's Jesus?"
EDIT: Someone drew a comic of it!

in before Bluey walks on water
New theme music also a boxOh thank Bluey. Disney+ will finally have the remaining third season episodes it was missing on July 12th!
And yes, this includes the one about infertility!
(*realizes what he just said*)
Oh, I made myself sad…
Real talk, I'm gonna be surprised if that doesn't come with a content warning because yeah, still pretty touchy subject.
UPDATE: Someone did a Bluey version of the poster for The Mitchells vs. The Machines! Looks great, wouldn't mind if this was the plot for Bluey's big darn movie.

Now bring the other unaired episodes!
Hey, got a conundrum.
I still watch the show like non-stop and it still absolutely does not feel like it's for preschoolers, but I got a friend who thinks it's saccharine and would be used by kidnappers. (I know, it's messed up that they would slam to that scenario.)
They're strong-minded and sort of set in their ways if that makes sense. How would you guys convince someone like that that Bluey is much deeper than what they think? I'm wondering if something poignant like "Sleepytime" might change their tune. (And also come up with verbal counter arguments?)
...what!?
How would a children's show be used for kidnapping?
Heck if I know, and I'm not sure if that's a subject to elaborate on. The point is my friend is really set in their way about how it's not appropriate to watch something like Bluey when I'm in my 20s.
How do I argue that Bluey is a lot more than just a preschool show?
> How do I argue that Bluey is a lot more than just a preschool show?
You don't,if they don't want to enjoy thats a them problem not a you problem
New theme music also a boxSo basically, just let them be them? Ah, figures. But I really thought they would've clicked with Chili at the very least. Alas.
Anyway, moving on! Did anyone know there'll be a video game? For the PS4/5, Xbox Series S/X, Xbox One, PC, and Switch and everything? Because the Australian Classification Board has a listing for one?

Funny thing is I'd argue the official first episode of Bluey is kind of a bad episode to hook non-believers (I mean, non-Bluey fans ), but at the same time I wouldn't use say Sleepytime either. Personally a good introduction eps in my mind that are in season 1 are stuff like Bumpy and the Wise Wolfhound, Yoga Ball, or Verandah Santa.

"These 'no-nonsense' solutions of yours just don't hold water in a complex world of jet-powered apes and time travel."heretic!
New theme music also a boxA while back, I learned that "Dad Baby" (the one where Bandit is pretending to be pregnant) was apparently never shown in the USA. Which I think is a bummer and also weird, because it's one of my favorites and the "pregnancy" is just pretend. Geez, overcompensating much, moral guardians?
Anyhoo! Remember that video game that got leaked via the ACB website?
Now it's official!

Bump.
Real question, how often do marching bands dedicate a performance to a (technically) preschool show?
Because Purdue Bands did exactly that and performed Bluey's theme song!
Can you hear the crowd singing along? Great stuff!
I love this show. It's so cute and so much fun.
Discord: Waido X 255#1372 If you cant contact me on TV Tropes do it here.Preschool? I can’t think of another instance. Cartoons in general? Oh yeah, all the time. Purdue hit some great ones in that show, though. But I think Bluey got the biggest cheer. Here’s the whole thing:
(Based on the audio quality I think it’s mostly the band itself shouting “Mum! Dad! Bingo! Bluey!!”)

Oh yeah we should be getting a Halloween special.
Speaking of specials, 2024 will feature Bluey's first 28-minute episode!
And it'll premiere globally on Disney+ and the Australian Broadcasting Corporation!
This episode of Bluey will be called "The Sign"!
