Nah, picking up knife also brings that route, but what happens is... Well you'll see.

But yeah Razor has couple ways of entering it. For you to enter Adversary, you need to hesitate attacking princess(without being scared of her or wondering if she is hiding weapon) before you choose to attack her (without sitting next to her to have conversation I think but I haven't tested all variants yet) to get result where you kill each other at same time.

I checked, if you pick up the knife, then you get arms race. But it seems like it’s pretty similar.

Yep. The difference is pretty subtle.

Just to be clear about these routes/forms, I've been going by the "forms" she takes.

I kind of miss the sub-title cards they had too. Made this a lot less confusing.

The Fury is arrived into from few ones by "defiling" their concept. Such as successfully slaying The Tower or making Adversary disappointed when she was expecting you to give her a good fight.

Yeah I got the fury when I killed the tower. I did get the apotheoses later on, but also the ending where she takes over the narrator and escapes.

Sidenote, this game's page really needs clean up because its massive mix of release and demo information ^_^;

Like multiple ending page is so gonna need cleaning

Yeah, the Stranger is FAR more different in the new version.

Its also definitely going to confuse people when they forget to seperate interpretions and game's information like yeah Long Quiet definitely represents eternity or void(Long Quiet is referred as "nothing" quite many times) or etc, but game never actually spells out what it is besides that its nascent god created to kill Shifting Mound. You can guess from that that Long Quiet is opposite of Shifting Mound(which is transformation, change and death), but game never spells what it actually represents, so people will definitely be interpreting it differently.

Yep, and even then it doesn't spell out everything, just enough to figure out what is going on if you explore it thoroughly.

So is the stranger just different now in the final game?

Like she's not a creepy worm abomination thing here.

She is kinda special.

first time you meet her, you don't really get to have conversation with her as multiple alternate versions of princesses get jammed together and she is just utterly confused of what is happening to her. Judging by Her's comments, as vessel she is also fairly empty and I think debate during Shifting Mound also reflects her paradoxical nature.

However if she is the first version of princess you met, she actually appears during final Cabin sequence post debate and its kinda sweet actually. She acts as sort of more down to earth but "true" representation of Shifting Mound without all divine confidence and multitude. Like both knife/non knife princesses agree that with you that they would prefer to not be god, Stranger version comments that she is fine with accepting what both she and you are. I think she actually makes for cute couple with your weird creepy birdmanness

Okay I saw both versions of Razor.

How the hell would you describe both versions of her?

Same person, but in one version you have learned perfect strat to stab her heart and in other you harness your power over nothing to break her apart and win her heart? ;P

I think Razor in general represents cruelty and full version of her is basically "ultimate culmination of word 'deadly' ", but you can still go beyond the ceiling and break the limit show casing she still wasn't at the absolute peak Or something, I forgot how did the debate dialog between two differ, but one of them was definitely about breaking your limits and thus her showing you and you showing her that both of you can go even higher

I feel you. The Stranger was the first one I got in the full game, so I was a little thrown off at first, but then I ended up really digging the concept of what the Stranger represented in the final version.

Ha, I love how if you get the Witch, you get the option to tell her she's beautiful if you give her the knife, and she actually blushes a little. She still kills you, but then you unlock an option to kiss that particular version of the Thorn.

I mean even Razor blushes if you flirt with her. Its just one of the things that makes sense when you realize you and princess love each other since from start

Yeah knowing the lore about her now, the stranger now is a neat take on that and she still becomes the abomination at the end.

I feel ya, the adversary is the perfect girlfriend for my psychotic tastes.

And I'm happy to report she was the first one I got.

She can join Jeritza from Three Houses.

Ha, now that's an idea: the cast of Fire Emblem: Three Houses as the various Voices of the player. The funniest part is seeing who blames who whenever something inevitably goes wrong.

Jeritza is def the voice of the stubborn, and Claude is opportunist.

Now who would Dimitri and Edelgard be?

You totally know Edelgard would be all for murdering the princess.

I like to imagine that when things go wrong (and things will go wrong), Edelgard blames Claude and Dimitri, Dimitri blames himself, and Clade blames the player without letting the player say anything in defense.

Felix would probably be super stoked to go up against the Razor, then very annoyed when she keeps killing you. He's probably the kind of guy to get very snippy with you every time you don't pick up the knife.

Bernadetta would probably be hilarious to listen to, especially when faced with some of the scarier versions of the Princess. Imagine her reaction to something like the Nightmare.

By that same token, Lysithea having to confront the Spectre would be hilarious to witness; her having to face the Wraith would probably be even worse.

...Oh geez, imagine Lorenz or Sylvain as the Voice of the Smitten.

I have been hearing a lot of Ben Diskin lately, so I can imagine Lorenz as the smitten.

Can I just say how awesome the art for the Apotheosis is? It's pretty awe-inspiring, though considering you only get it if you meet the Tower, that's probably not a big surprise.
