MultiVersus - WarnerMedia Platform Fighter

Popular character from a show that's about to return from a long hiatus, most likely.

Not reading the spoilers makes the unspoiled text seem like a bunch of Non Sequiturs, and I think that's funny

I've been hearing a lot of mixed things about the show, but if there's anything I've learned about the internet is that they can make the most average things come across as something ungodly horrible. That & I don't think the show is anywhere craptastic as some people claim, but I just don't enjoy it as much either.

In any case, it's going to be very interesting to hear more about the roster in the future.

Some credits were leaked, which seem to confirm some sort of story. 3 people who I will not name are working on said story, and a handful of song titles also hint at said story, such as "Remember Who You Are" and "The Story Doesn’t End Here". Another credit also mentions "Overworld Audio", which probably implies the story has some sort of overworld.

Ooh, if there's an overworld, then I hope it's a Subspace Emissary-type platformer story mode.

I hope the story mode is at least fun. The only story mode I've enjoyed in any fighting game has been only been MK's in the last 5 years.

Considering that this is a live service game, I have a gut feeling the game's story will probably be episodic, with new events being added with each future update.

Hoo boy, that's gonna be hell. I hate the idea of playing a chapter one at a time.

I just remembered that WarnerMedia is merging with Discovery in mid-April. I'm sure it won't affect the game, but it means we could get the Mythbusters as characters.

Now that you remind me, there's a chance we could get Takeshi Kaga, Alton Brown, Marc Summers or Guy Fieri into the roster.

Does that include Discovery Family shows?

If so, that means we could plausibly get MLP: Fi M or Dan Vs. content.

The former is a Hasbro IP, and the latter is owned by Starz. They'd be considered 3rd parties, but I'm sure WB or Discovery could pull a few strings if they wanted to.

As of now, 60% of Discovery Family assets will be in the merger. MLP is likely, not so sure about Dan Vs.

Dan being in this game would legit be cool as hell

I thought his name was supposed Angus Mcloud?

Well, I'm still hoping they have weird & obscure characters in the game. I wouldn't nearly like Smash Bros if that weren't the case.

BTW, I wasn't going to participate since I only have like about 4 characters to choose from but I have no idea how to put any of the characters in that image?

Can't you just put stock images of the characters in the little slots via an image editor?

I actually did misspell his name, it's actually Angus McGreggor.

As for the template, I just kinda overlayed pictures onto it. Except for Angus, I actually had to draw that from scratch because there's barely any clear pics of him.

I'm not sure if it would have worked, but I could have given you a sprite sheet of him.

Thanks for the offer, though I wanted him to reflect how he looked on the game's boxart, with the gold accents on his tunic. Since I had to shrink the original pic to post it, here's a clearer look at Angus.

I wouldn't know since I never really dabble with it.

Thanks y'all! But yeah, he's definitely a "never-ever" most wanted for me, because I dunno if WB Games would ever consider picking a character from an old Mortal Kombat clone that just so happened to later be ironically owned by WB due to various old acquisitions.
