After the bad stuff that came out about her I'm surprised this show is still happening
New theme music also a boxThe show started production in 2019, long before the stuff with the real life Ellen was revealed. At this point, it was going to be released at some point.
So, what? It's gonna be released in the most quiet way possible and just get buried to the bottom of the service's library?
Wake me up at your own risk.Oof, I saw Twitter the other day was raging about this one. Heck, I would've brushed it off as Twitter being Twitter if it wasn't for Chris McFeely (the YouTuber behind "The Basics on Transformers")'s truly-has-to-be-read-to-believe reaction.
I don't even know what's going on with Ellen apart from bullying someone when she started out? (Methinks I'm barely tapping on the iceberg...)

It's a bit of a shame that the stuff with the real life Ellen is overshadowing the show itself. I saw a few episodes, and it's definitely something I could see a 5 year old enjoy. Plus, this intro has some really good trumpet music.
TL DR, she had a reputation for running a very toxic workplace, with stories about being staffers being treated in a racist manner, being fired for taking time off for medical leave, being paid too little to cover healthcare and then being reprimanded for opening a Gofundme to cover those costs, etc.

Holy Unnatural Amounts of Pettiness, Batman!
And she thinks she can get away with that because...?
Because people become convinced they're invincible when they have so much money they can fire anybody who objects to their worst habits. And she did, for many years, until now when it finally boiled over and her show is going to end.
Little Bill energy here. But at least that show came out before all that horrific shit came to light about the man who said Eddie Murphy and Bart Simpson would destroy America's values.
Eddie so enjoyed roasting his ass for that comment. Although Eddie probably is going to have to watch his back because Cosby is out of jail.
Cosby's legally-blind and barely able to move around on his own anymore. I think Eddie could take 'im.

Disney100 Marathon | DreamWorks MarathonIt also reminds me of Father of the Pride, an animated sitcom featuring Seigfried & Roy's tigers. It came out right after one of the tigers mauled Roy in real life.
OMG I never knew that until now! That's horrible! Why did that happen?!
Why did the tiger maul Roy or why did the cartoon come out right after the mauling?
According to the show’s YMMV page:
More on Wikipedia. Gets kinda graphic.

Infamously, a Simpsons episode predicted it ten years earlier. The writers in the commentary (recorded after the incident) noted that tigers are wild animals and it was just a matter of time.
The Big Secrets books by William Poundstone which published spoilers on how magic tricks are performed covered the show (again, before the attack). Poundstone went into a lot of detail about how tigers are never truly domesticated and listed some other acts where the animals attacked the performer.
x3: I guess I meant why the tiger mauled Roy, but Tuckerscreator answered that. But since you brought it up, why did the cartoon come out right after the mauling?
(Incidentally, I seriously thought Roy died from the tiger because how often does one survive a mauling? Turns out Roy died much later from COVID-19. Man. )

My guess: it was in production before that and the release was just unfortunate timing.
I've seen a bit of the show and I only remember two things about it: John Goodman voiced the main tiger and there was one episode where (this being a Dreamworks show) Donkey, of all people, showed up and was treated as an in-universe celebrity that played himself in the Shrek movies. And yes, Eddie Murphy voiced him in the episode. Aside from that, it was just kinda boring.
