She busted her ass off and sacrificed her own channel to increase B-Komachi's popularity.
As for Akane, her acting career is rising to new heights and she's in a relationship with someone she loves. Everything is going great for her, but Aqua still seems really pensive about something.
And Kana is sad. Has been sad for like 6 months now.

I haven’t seen any anime from Doga Kobo, are they usually good?
I find Dogakobo very good in that they usually elevate the source material, especially with CGDCT shows, their specialty. So at the very least the positive, cutesy stuff will get adapted with gusto. It remains to be seen how they’ll deal with the darker/edgier aspects.

Well, the most immediate implication is that we could be headed into a "casting couch" direction, but I don't think Aka wants to get that dark (Mengo might be another story). Depending on how manipulative Ruby actually ends up being, I could see her baiting out a dangerous situation with the director, who clearly wants girls to creep on (bet that's how he got fired), while remaining in control so the assistant here can get to play at knight in shining armor and wrapping him around her finger.
