Word. Did not expect Himekawa to turn out to be Aqua and Ruby’s half-brother. He probably doesn’t know anything about their dad, though. Whoever he was, he really got around.
Yeah. Didn't the director said he found Himekawa in a children's home? That should mean he probably knows very little, if any, about his biological family.

Even if he did, I don't expect him to be super cooperative. It's a bit of a weird thing to spring on a guy.

Chapter out. Odd that Aqua didn't notice the discrepancy in the dates — by the time Ai was murdered, Himekawa's supposed dad was long dead. I don't think Himekawa is in on it, but it looks like Aqua wanted an out of his revenge quest more than he would admit.

I am also confused by that. I guess Aqua latching on to a possible out is a nice way to explain it, but it is a glaring oversight.
Wonder if this means we’re going to get relatively lighthearted chapters for now though. Probably put some focus on Ruby?
Yeah, I think for sure their real father is still out there somewhere. But for now Aka might just want to focus on the more lighthearted stuff a little while, until Aqua realizes.

Would expect more of a Tear Jerker, especially if they have an actual discussion about everything that happened.

Her and Aqua were in a movie together due to Taishi. Think it was mentioned she got more job offers after that as well.
Don’t have an issue with it since put more context into why she behaves how she does, without active changing anything.
