I think panel 1 by itself works. Her sheer anger at the act takes out out of Talking Heads IMO.

Not loving it, as it's mostly Talking Heads, but I guess panel 1 is okay.
I don't like it. What this trope would need is the panel before the first panel. This comic begins with the woman admitting that she is lesbian, but misses the context of how it happened. Everything that happens after that is completely irrelevant for the trope.
The universe is under no obligation to make sense to us.Panel 1 is fine. I assume the context is that the man sent some image around that made it clear that the woman was a lesbian.
