I'm still not entirely clear on what she's trying to accomplish. Is reviving Life the goal in itself?
Seems that way, maybe merge with them/become their host though
Notice me Life-Senpai
"You can reply to this Message!"Sounds like it. She beheld a piece of grandiose deity and became obsessed with it.

I don't get the sense that she's planning to hijack Life. Her obsession seems... pure? If that makes sense? Not like a creepy stalker looking for a date, but like a devoted priest just trying to serve.
That doesn't necessarily mean Life would want this, and it certainly doesn't mean it's a good thing, but it just doesn't strike me as selfish.
I imagine she wouldn't appreciate all the chimeras the Collector is making given what she nearly did to Jolon.
And this seems to explain The Collectors outlook

"You can reply to this Message!""I destroyed a city full of people, you would destroy a lifeless mountain to bring them back. That means we're basically at the same level of evil, right?"
She's a rather calm and friendly version of insane, but she is most definitely insane. It's an interesting twist on the archetype.
You don't even need to destroy a mountain to make a city, you can just put it nearby.
I also get the feeling Life would not thank her for being revived, considering the whole "sacrificing ourselves to trap the Void Dragon" business.
Welcome to Estalia, gentlemen. The Greater Good!
Shut it!
Trans rights are human rights. TV Tropes is not a place for bigotry, cruelty, or dickishness, no matter who or their position.Ahhh, busting out the classics.
Thank you, I wanted to interrupt the mood of this serious, somber scene with a stupid joke (because I can be a pillock at times) and I seemed to have succeeded.
Also, almost three in the morning.
Trans rights are human rights. TV Tropes is not a place for bigotry, cruelty, or dickishness, no matter who or their position.Oh, sorry, I actually didn't get your joke/reference.
I meant the general "villain claims Greater Good" as a classic.
Wonder how Collector-chan will react to finding out her Waifu chose someone else

"You can reply to this Message!"...Crack theory: I wonder if that's why Life decided to have someone as her vessel: when Collector woke her up, Life realised what she was going to attempt, thought "Ugh, this idiot is going to ruin everything", went to Alinua(because her connection to Life Magic was strong enough or something?) and when they'll face Collector, Life'll bitchslap the shit out of Collector and tell her, "Yo bitch, stop trying to ruin everything and let me be dead, so that void dragon will stay sealed up".
I assure you, I'm a completely trustworthy person. There is actually a worse outcome for Walter
Colleen (as I grow lazy in writing her fill title) manages to succeed but it doesn't break the adamant shell.
Meaning no life on the planet and Walter is still stuck and now doesn't even have the tools to claw at the door.

"You can reply to this Message!"Also, nice bit of introspection from our loner.
Erin being an ace therapist.
I admit I did not expect this kind of empathy from him.
