edit: this was supposed to go in world-building! my bad

im worldbuilding for something and, in the universe, heaven & hell are actual dimensions known as the ether & the pyre. theyre inhabited by angels and demons respectively. the world also contains magic, but its separated from religion.

i was planning to go with the classic sphere and choir system for heaven, but the more i looked at it the more it felt unoriginal and a bit sacriligious. im looking to have a more unique system that would fit the world better. any ideas?
