I'm sure it will be fairly quick since the Tenseiga needs to be shortly after someones death while the pallbearers are still in the process of taking the soul to the underworld, otherwise the Tenseiga when used purifies the souls and sends them to heaven.

Reviving because the second season has already started. First episode was okay. It was mostly about bringing Setsuna back to life so not a lot happened but next week looks fun, if not very plot relevant.
Gotta get the root so Totosai can make Towa a new sword.

- Moroha meets someone who knows her parents. Seriously why didn’t she meet Miroku and Sango?
- Towa needs a sword. (DENTAL PLAN) Towa needs a sword.
- Next week Towa and Setsuna have a heartwarming reunion. A demon is targeting people with beautiful hair. I guess Moroha meeting her parents and Rin being back are gonna be later in the season.
Side note: I love how both Totosai and JAKEN smack Moroha on the head and yet Moroha gets to be badass by fighting the evil spirits. Moroha embodies what I like about the OG group in that Inu Yasha, Kagome, Shippo, Miroku, and Sango were able to be both comedic and badass.
I didn't think that it would take Totosai three days to repair Tenseiga even though it was a clean break.

Actually, the first episode of season 2. (or the continuation of season 1.) so season 2. exists in unofficial sources, the episode classification as Episode 25. of "Hanyou no Yashahime".

- Rin is afflicted with the Silver Scale Curse, which would rot her skin, which is how Zero and Rin are connected.
- Rin is a Mama Bear.
- Jaken thinks that Inu Yasha and Kagome would kill Zero and end up killing Rin.
- So Setsuna was affected by the Dream Butterfly to keep her mother’s curse from spreading.
- How would Jaken know what a toilet is?
- Riku saves Setsuna from demons that have Rainbow Pearls
- Riku gives Setsuna a piece of paper.
- Kirinmaru knows.
- We meet Bokusen-o.
- Zero has all Rainbow Pearls.
- Riku was born from a horn that fell off Kirinmaru.
- So my prediction last week was wrong. We learn the truth behind why Rin is in the tree, Towa and Setsuna don’t know yet.
- Now it seems that the girls may learn. And they will encounter Kirinmaru.

Next episode: Rion wants the girls to defeat her dad.
Only I didn't understand why the series relates Kirinmaru as the main villain of the show I mean from what we see from him until now Kirinmaru doesn't attack innocent humans and he doesn't kill just for his own fun, plus until now every time that he meets Towa, Setsuna and Moroha he lets them live he even gives to them an option to go back and leave at the second time that they try to fight against him and even warning than that he can't stop his power at this time.
P.S. I also don't understand the timeline of the series if we compare it to the series of "Inuyasha" timeline I mean Rin suppose to be young than Kagome and yet she is at the age of 18. when Kagome is only 15/16 or 17 at most.

Kagome is obviously older now (probably somewhere in her twenties now).
It's just that he character model hasn't changed. Hell, her mother looks exactly as she did in the original series too, despite the fact she's probably in her 60s or something.
The only one who's ages from the series is Souta.

I wonder how long Setsuna is going to be out of the picture. Because being honest she was my favorite character and unless Moroha gets some actual focus that isn't comic relief and/or Towa grows from Setsuna's death and gets some actual focus that elevates her from being the weakest of the trio characterwise I'm not really all that interested in the next season. I'm still going to watch but my interest level is pretty low right now.
