Enlisted Main Page

Initially announced and alpha-tested roughly three years ago, Enlisted has appeared again with an open beta earlier this April. The gameplay resembles a cross between Red Orchestra II and War Thunder, and in a very good way; it still has that gameplay philosophy of keeping an authentic feel of military realism, while also not crossing too much over to the point of annoyance or boredom. Didn't get to try it out myself, but hey, I figure there's gotta be a WT or ROII fan on this forum who's interested.

Played it for tha past week. While familiar with the kind of grind associated with Gaijin Entertainment, at it's core it's a fun game like War Thunder with a surprisingly wide range of historically accurate weapons and equipment.

While fun, it is not without some grieviances: early game loadouts severely lack anti-tank capability, crew and soldiers stats system is a bit daunting and the grind might hold some people back from unlocking the good units and gear that could make this game match the Battlefield series in terms of scale and fun factor.

All in all, this is pretty much a F2P Battlefield V that is actually fun, if one does not mind putting the time to do some early-game grinding.
