Codex edit: The souls of any of the other girls are probably in the same crystal as I am. It would take a very powerful crystal, to: 1)Contain my soul. 2)Provide my soul with a convincing artificial environment. 3)Block my soul from using magic, now that I am aware I am trapped in an artificial environment. So far, I've tried every spell I can think of, and none of them have worked. I doubt Princess Adrestia would have been able to get more then one such crystal, so hopefully I can find the others - Star White

GM Note: For ten favor points, I'll go ahead and tell you. The onyx pendant, while almost certainly the focus of a magic spell, is not large enough to be the jewel being used to hold Star White captive. While a person's soul COULD be contained in something that small, that would pretty much be the limit of what the stone could do. As an Atlantian Princess, Star White can cast magic with just her mind. She could break out of any stone smaller then, say, a bowling ball with relative ease.

Maria already understoood that the princess couldn't be in that pendant but since it stll looked suspicious she pressed on anyway "there's really no need to be rude you know, I'm just trying to be friendly did I did something to bother you? are you angry with me?" Maria asked sincerally, trying to see if she could bring out some kindness out of her.

The pendant is holding the spell that is blocking MARI-SUE from detecting Angel, Bee, and Cee's level. If you can get Angel to remove it or find some way to break either the chain or the stone, then MARI-SUE will know their stats. The spell work could be of either Atlantian, Atherian, or several other realms, but is clearly not from Earth / Aerth.

Angel snaps her fingers, loudly. Bee and Cee try to grab Maria's arms to drag her away. Do you try to resist?

Angel suddenly tears up, starting to cry. "OH... Ms. Strick... she was demanding I give her all the fish pizza, Bee and Cee were only protecting me when I tried to tell her I needed to save some for the real... er, other students."
Ms. Strick looks dubiously at the anchovy and goat cheese pizzas, mostly untouched. "I'm sure there's some way to divide that fairly between Bee, Cee, and Maria. Since they seem to be the only ones interested in it?"
"No, I don't want her to have any of it now!"
"Miss Angel, while your parents paid for the pizza, you said it was for the entire class." says Ms. Strick. "Miss Maria is, regardless of her political affiliation, as much of a member of this class is anyone else."

Bee and Cee both let go of Maria's arms, making a show of wiping their hands off on hastily grabbed napkins.
Miss Strick goes to look Maria over. "Are you all right, dear? If you want, I'll let you go sit in the library instead of having to go to gym class with her."

Maria sighed frustrated when she realized Angel's necklace and realized that she's probably an evil agent that was probably where the princess mind was, she collected as much courage as she could and got up from the table and went over towards her to see if she could reason with her "Hey there Angel, How are you doing? did you already had that necklace with you? it looks really nice" She said trying to appeal to her ego.
