Defenders are good to have upgraded, but what it helps them the most with is with enemies who will do massive damage in one hit (which do exist and are terrifying). Early on, you'll want stronger DPS units (snipers, most usually) so they can thin out the flow of enemies and keep your defenders from being overwhelmed with numbers.

Exusiai, Blue Poison, Meteor, Shirayuki and W.
Kroos and Jessica are both entirely serviceable and will do a great job. Adnachiel and Rangers are okay, but I wouldn't use them as your main snipers. If you're lucky enough to pull Blue Poison or Exusiai, they're considered some of the best.
It's been fun.
If you want to upgrade a defender, use Cuora. She's basically the best defender that often outskill those from higher rarity in term of durability. Just don't use her for DPS.
LOVE WINS
Don't forget Platinum (if you have her). Her extended range allows her to spawn camp enemies. I find her especially useful in Annihilation 2.
The free roll today was my 300th roll (just according to keikaku) so I just ended up buying Weedy. Will probably use Weedy + Liskarm combo for the next CC.

CN's update on the relation tree.
The most noticeable thing is that several guys have their faction updated, like Melantha isn't just got lumped in general Rhodes like Amiya but the specialized icon for Reserve A4 unit. Also several factions are lumped inside their country for the profile's icon completion like BSW and Rhine are inside Columbia Union. This is also confirms that the 5-points sunburst from Mansfield event is Columbia's coat of arm. It looks great.
It's also said that the profile will get updated along the time with more story and event unlock. This is basically fix the thing that bothers me the most; several reveals in the story give more info on the charcters, but there's no update in the profile (e.g Gavial is from Sargon as shown by her event, but her profile still listed as 'undisclosed'). I suspected that will happen to Firewatch and we get a hard confirm that she's from Sami, and we get an acknowledgement that Ptilopsis and Nightingale's profiles got stealth-updated.

Well I looked up the current sign in bonuses, hoping that Beagle's outfit would be a little longer than I though...it wasn't.
But hey 1/2 free outfits is better than nothing, and there's a possibility of me getting it next year if they decide to rerun the anniversary sign in events (slim as it seems).
That said, is it possible for a new player to farm 2200 of the currency needed for that skin in 3 days?
Theoretically? Yes. You would have to burn through a lot of sanity potions and/or originum prime for sanity refills to clear maps and get the materials to upgrade operators.
Unless you have a bunch of potions saved up I would not advise burning through originium prime for this. It's best used to buy the paid skins or breaking down for pulls if you're desperate.
On that note, if you ever do convert OP to orundum buy the packs that cost it in the shop, you get the same amount of orundum + extra goodies

In other news I managed to be my Annihilation record and now it end just shy of 300 instead of 200. Progress!
Speaking of which, I've 2140 of the Guerilla badges now. I'm gonna farm 0-9 31 times to cover that mission, if I get both done, that would be 250 more. 3 days left with the daily missions would be 450, so 2790 by my estimate.
In which case I still have to get 800 more. My best chances would have to be clue related missions(speaking of which @Strawberryflavored I sent you the last clue that you need)

Alright I'm 10 shy of 3000 Guerilla tokens now. I'm working on the 1600 Sanity and Recruitment missions (gives me an excuse to try to get the 2 stars) and I was wondering.
- Most of which entails to the Clues and credits. When sharing clues, what colors denote if a number is missing? gray or black?
- With clue extravaganzas? do you get 210 credit, 300 credit or 510 credit total?
- Who among those that already shared their handles have a Clue with the number of 1? That is the only one I need before starting an extravaganza.
Both of which are due to the credit ones being the first thing I'm working on after sanity. I'm assuming I have two days left after today so 300 form the dailies will bring up the total to 3290 which means I still have to get 350 more.
In other news I'm capping the Weekly Oriundum form Annihilation and also capped the levels ont he 4 2 star untis I have, which would make them a little more usefull in the event I decide to use them and a lot more useful in the RIIC

You get 300 credit total from clue exchanges, it'll only be given to you 24 hrs after activating the exchange though.

Ah.
I managed to clear the Sanity mission, so that should be 3140 (3440). 40 Recruitment mission will take a while since I blue throw my expedition vouchers, but I'm gonna get 10 tomorrow as part of Cliffheart's sign-in thing. Once that mission is finished it should be 3290 (3590 with the dailies)
Obviously this assumes I have the permits to burn (and I do), but I must still ask how many of them do you get on a regular basis from the missions and in general?

Sorry, I misremembered, 300 is the credit cap if you don't spend excess credit at the store, you get 210 from an exchange.
And permits are limited to login bonuses/event shops/cert shops/missions, so probably like around 20-30 a month and about 10 a week?

EDIT: Anyway While I'm still planning on E1-ing Gummy. I am interested in getting Curoa as well (and Perfumer and Myrtle for other roles)
