Well, I often hear that to win a woman’s heart, you have to make her laugh. Bond succeeded at that at least. I guess.
"And thus a bond was forged."
, Love Makes You Dumb and all that.

Considering he has future sight, Bond must be really head over heels here.
I think the lesson Franky really needs to learn is being casual.
Cause people in general don't go for folks who are fucking intense and try hards.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."He's never been in a relationship before, so he has no idea how to actually talk to a woman.
You'd think he would have learned something from Loid...
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.So your takeaway is that Franky should become a better liar and manipulator?
I'm not sure Loid's been in a genuine romantic relationship either.
He does at least seem to have better social skills — ymmv on whether that counts as lying and manipulation.

Disgusted, but not surprisedHe at least knows how to attract women while Franky just repulses them.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Franky seems like the kind of guy who gets his views on romance from romantic comedies and dramas.
Thing is, the relationships in said works are not supposed to be considered entirely healthy ones. Because healthy relationships don't make for really good comedy or drama since both of those rely a lot on conflict and pain.
Disgusted, but not surprised@Cross: That depends on what Franky wants out of a relationship :V
Loid isn't exactly a model person himself, but he knows how to attract women...for better or worse.
So what would you call Loid and Yor's relationship then?

A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Hilarious to me that a man who considers himself God's gift to women is unable to comprehend he's falling in love with a woman who's also doing the same for him. The irony in this series is hilarious
she/herEh, I don't think Loid ever considered himself God's gift to women or anything. He's just trained in seduction as part of being a spy. If anything, he seems a little oblivious to it granted Nightfall is also very, very good at hiding her feelings. At least until recently.

Also, Twilight never really cared about the women he pursued before beyond what they provided for his mission. Operation Strix forces him to get more emotionally involved than he usually would and leave himself open to falling in love.
It helps that Yor reminds him of his mother.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does. It's not a healthy relationship. Everyone involved is lying their asses off about who they are. The source of conflict is that they are all trying to keep their secrets.
But that's why it's a comedy. Especially when you mix in the irony of Anya being privy to the secrets because she's psychic but helps maintain the deception because she likes the new living situation.

Disgusted, but not surprisedYou know the series will be ending when the drama starts picking up and the masquerade is broken.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Loid/Yor is definitely unhealthy, just... in a weirdly healthy way? They're constantly lying to each other, but they're terrible at it, and the only reason it works is because neither of them knows how a normal human is supposed to act. Furthermore, it's quite clear that when everything does come out they'll be able to move past it relatively quickly since they have largely the same goals. Yor is an Ostanian assassin mostly killing corrupt Ostanian businessmen for peace, while Loid is a Westalis spy mostly helping Ostania behind the scenes for peace.
Once everything is out in the open they can pretty much continue their relationship exactly as it is now. That just won't be as funny, so it's gonna get dragged out a lot.
I don't think their organizations are going to see it that way.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.I hope they at least have an arc or two of a post reveal status quo before the end of the manga.
I think it'd be pretty interesting to see them initially accept the reveal due to external circumstances making it easier at the time. Like a mutual enemy
But then still have to deal with previous lies afterwards.
Fridge Logic on the setting: The setting, Ostania, is based on East Germany. Okay, then how come a dictatorship with a State Sec has multiple political parties, and one of them even holds rallies calling for a more peaceful approach to Westalis?
"Enshittification truly is how platforms die"-Cory DoctorowI'm going to guess it's because they're not quite East Germany. Ostania is probably ostensibly a "freedom-loving democracy" that just so happens to have an unfortunate state of emergency going on that requires the secret police and limits on civil rights. Other political parties are allowed, and have freedom of speech...within guidelines.
Yeah, I don’t think we’ve have much details on the type of regime the two countries live under. If anything, what we’ve seen suggests that they’re very similar.
The chapter with the guy having to stage photos of supposed Ostanian oppression and suffering to send over to Westalis implies that for most Ostanians in the city, life is pretty stable overall if he has to resort to that.
The office workers also treat the secret police less as an actual threat and more something distant from their lives to gossip over all the time.
It's part showing how the more unpleasant elements are hidden from the general populace and how complacent they are, part accurately showing people living under that sort of regime being too depressing.

Today in odd crossovers, Spy X Family ED singer Gen Hoshino had a concert on Fornite and one of the songs was the SXF ED.
We know that Ostania isn't even pretending to be communist because Eden College exists. It's basically Eton except even more cheerfully classist.
What's precedent ever done for us?
Oh the cringe, poor Bond.
Taking romantic advice from a person whose never had a successful romantic encounter.
