Joe Di Maggio is one of those actors that doesn't have a lot of "range" in making his voice sound different, but he's such a good actor that it doesn't really matter much.

His take on the Joker is probably one of the best after Hamill.

[up] Exactly like Patrick Warburton. Only one range but its a fucking fantastic range.

Oh my God I love that movie. Di Maggio was so good in the role. As a side note he's also my favorite Aquaman.

I will said if anything that Leto should have imitated more di maggoe joker than leadger because that joker is close to be a gangster.

If anything Di Maggio is a great example of doing the Joker different, but still doing him great. Which makes Leto look even worse in my opinion. Since what he tried to do can work, but he just failed at it. Leto is an Oscar winning and very talented actor, so I still want to know what he was thinking with his performance.

Well, part of it is that he was whisplash* by WB and another is that Ayer didnt really know what to do with him at first.

I will said a problem with him is that he didnt do anything, it dosent matter if joker is weird as long he back that up with action, he didnt therefore he was....silly.

  • : If peope remenber well, the actor said he did a lot to make vanko(whisplash) intersting and almost all of it was cut in the editing room, living him as very generic villian.

Jeffery Wright shares with us how he gears up to become the good commissioner.

For context, Batman: The Golden Age - Volume 1 features Detective Comics #27-45, Batman #1-3, and New York World's Fair Comics #2.

[up][up] I have not but I heard its Joker is excellent.

They even reversed the Harley & Joker dynamic by having Harley be the villainous corrupter of the relationship for once.

Also Brave and Bold Joker.

[up][up]That sound great.

Also slim I recomend you the joker blogs, sure is devoptment hell for once-know-how-long but it is great.

It also show a nice variant by making joker be into harley at first rather than the other way around and for me that fix A LOT of stuff between the whole thing.

The Batman's Joker made for a pretty good Batman really.

Yeah, it’s pretty good. It got hit hard by the fandom for being the act that followed the DCAU - especially since it’s first season took a while to get its legs under it - but overall it was a fine series.

[up][up] Oh so it got hit with the same thing as the Brave and the Bold. A good show that got hate for not being the same as the show before it.

Basically. There was a lot of “auuugh the Joker has long hair worst show ever!” and “auuugh the Penguin can fight now worst show ever!” - tons of They Changed It, Now It Sucks!.

Not to say the show was perfect, but it was still pretty good. Some of its episodes still rank among my favorite Batman adaptation episodes, and I like the unique twists they put on some of the characters.

I liked Barbara in The Batman, her We Used to Be Friends dynamic with Ivy, and that she got the limelight by appearing first before Robin.

The show took a little while to find its footing in my opinion. A lot of the earlier episodes don't have the best writing. An earlier one I saw recently had basically all the dialogue be cheesy one-liners, and not the funny kind. It's fair to compare it to Brave and the Bold but I personally found that show a lot better even earlier on, relative to what it was trying to accomplish.

That being said, it did suffer a lot for being the first non-DCAU Batman show. People look upon it more favorably now.
