Make a blank edit with the complete edit reason. That's what I usually do in this situation.

I was writing an edit reason for many edits I made to a character sheet. When I pressed enter to start a new line to cite a reason for another edit, guess I wasn't supposed to, the page was saved.
What to do?
Edit: I did remove some erroneous tropes.
