It would appear that we finally have Alan Ford on this wiki! All tropers from former Yugoslavia and Italy are hereby invited to help build the page and further contribute to the knowledge this site has on this amazing, hilarious comic book that is pretty much unknown to the rest of the world, but surely deserves just as many entries as the usual mega popular work found on this site.

The Work Page as I found it is mostly still in wraps, with no Character Sheet or other supplementary material. All help in documenting how great and beloved this work is will be most welcome.

As for those of you who don't know what this is about:

Alan Ford is an Italian comic from the late sixties, still published today. What's special about it is that Yugoslavia ABSOLUTELY ADORED IT, and it has entered pop culture and culture in general on all levels in today's Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, Montenegro, Slovenia and Serbia, that is, Yugoslavia's successor states. Really: EVERYONE there knows it. There were movie classics inspired by it, the characters have entered everyday jargon, heck, we even had MPs in the Croatian Parliament refer to it when insulting each other. For more information, see its page or look it up, or ask anyone you might know from those parts.

To conclude: here we have a Troperiffic work that is, sadly, mostly unknown in the Anglosphere, and it would be about time they heard about it, at least here, where such things are wanted (and this site would love it if it only knew it).

So, for all of you on the wiki who know it, and chances are you are from the ex country, let's show it to the world at last!
